I have a job and also study at university. So it is enough for me to live, but not enough to buy an expensive High End PC :P

This afternoon, there was a server online titled "Kev's server" running "battle_for_stonne" with someone called "Kev4000" listed as the (then) only player...

hmmm. Googled abit.. The battle of Stonne took place between 15 and 17 May, and the town changed hands 17 times.
That is SICK

Didn't we some screenshots of this map in the modding section some time ago? To say it better, in the French Hope section. I am really looking forward to this map, since the layout seems to be very interresting. I hope it will find it's way into the French Hope release.

Edit: Sorry, there are only screenshots of Sonne from very early stages. They layout is from Sedan.

Yes, there were screenshots. And, Stonne (along with Sedan) was supposed to be put into public betatesting on Bastille Day, but 2.4 kind of stole the wind and that event was cancelled.

But curiouser and curiouser, later in the evening the player list of "Kev's" showed several more devs and tadabesters, so this can only mean one thing...

...pending an official news update, French Hope has been accepted into official development.

Was too busy playing and developing unfounded conspiracy theories to notice ;)

On the other hand, during some betatesting nights, I have only "seen" one map per night. So the number of maps really proves nothing.

I skipped a bit through the French Hope threat. Two other maps were mentioned. A map called "Bir Hakeim". There are different possiblities for this battle if you use wikipedia. 1. The Battle for Bir Hakeim in Lybia, what would add one more african map with one more faction for the african theatre. And 2. the resistance group of "Maquis Bir-Hakeim". This would be very interesting, but I think the first solution is the more obvivious one.

Second map shown in the threat and also spotted on the test server is "Operation Dynamo". There are some screen shots of the cliffs and other spots on this map. Could be some layout as the 32 player version of PdH but much bigger. Brittish and french forces get pushed to the sea or something like that. This could be very interesting with mixed forces. But we will see.

I just wonder why Nissi "reject" his Collevile Draw project... ;)

would be nice if devs have look on that map, but to be honest - 64 players are too few for Omaha Beach map

Because it sucks! Pics taken yesterday for some other reasons.

I have something else to do, the solution can be found on one of the following pics:

Just to make it clear: This post has only one purpose and this one is to generate confusion.  8)
