Title: Can't launch FH2 (windows 10)

Hello,

When I click to "play" on the launcher, I have a black screen for a while and, after, the game crashes. I tried to reinstall BF2 (with patch 1.41 and 1.50) and FH2, but nothing changes.

Notice that I have a cracked version of BF2, that doesn't work itself on my PC (I have a message that I need to insert the CD of the game ; the crack is based on an ISO file).

I have Windows 10, and  on an older PC with Windows 7, this crack works...

Can someone helps me ?  :-X

You clearly don't have patches 1.41 and 1.50 installed,  up to date version of BF2 will never give you the "instert the CD" message. Reinstall your BF2, apply patches in the correct order and it will work.

I tried and... It gives the same thing. But there is no more the message about the CD when I try to launch BF2 ! Just a black screen and then the game crashes.

I tried with Windows 7, 8 and XP comptabily, same thing.

Have you tried to install this (http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=21663.0)? It's a stripped down verswion of BF2 just what you need to get FH2 going.

If you're gonna try this I advise to delete previous installs of BF2 first. Don't forget the folders in My Documents etc, if you keep them they might cause trouble with a new install.

That's clearly your BF2 broken then, not FH2. Try installing that standalone version Slayer posted and it should fix your issues  ;)

So, I installed the stand-alone FH2, and when I launched the game, I got a message that I need to update my drivers... so I did, and it works now ahah !
