I have the same problem as Hockeywarrior: entire PC freezing. Never had that before 2.4.

My configuration:
XP SP 3
Intel Core 2 Duo PC
E 8400 @ 3Ghz
3Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
