I wonder. Apart from bleed shader, could there be any change to hurt warning? Perhaps to make it more insistent. The BF2 red arc doesnt always show the sense of emergency. I want to have to duck when in a pistol/. smg firefight in which we are both taking damage - or have to fire through a bloodied rage.

The red arc doesn't afford this

Maybe, more of a blood splatter?

Nice update!
Really like the new shaders. It's hard to believe that FH2 actually is based on BF2.

I liked the video. Only two problems: The player model stops a bit abruptly which looks not 100% realistic and the video is too short (we want moooore!) :)

I also noticed that there is a FH 2.4 coming soon as in-game advertisment! Can't wait!

 Looks great, ignore our advances (except from the pretty ones) and keep on path. It's summertime in the Northern Hemisphere and you Computer geeks better get cracking on a release before the sudden rush of vitamin D spurs us into venturing outside, far, far away from our PC's and the sweet reward of a big hit of 2.4

Seeing that we're speaking on Shaders here - Have you (devs) managed to solve the broken Nvidia wounded shader? I am still stuck with a really old driver (+nhancer) Can't complain with my present performance but I know that my graphics card can give me some more performance with an updated driver.

Is the running sound (equipment clanging etc) featured in the teaser updated? It sounds better and more varied than current (2.3) version.
I can't reveal any detail, but I'm pretty sure your problem will be gone with 2.4, thanks to Kev's work.

Actually the africa pics could look like real ingame, which makes me happy, as they look good. :)

Video is good, I just dont like the black start, but I really like the frozzen FH2 logo.
Will the frozen logo be the new offical logo?


and as I see the Anctonville screens. Was it changed again? when yes can you tell in which way?

No it is only a little gimmick for the trailer. The picture SiCario posted was leaked yesterday on IRC by Kev to demonstrate how the grain looks now.

oh cool, this pic does really looks great.
And you hardly see the grain effect, or if you see then only at the edges of the point of view.

German player models, and animiation looks fantastic too  ;D

Cant wait!!  Best would be: Relaise in 5-6 weeks, then I have finished all exams and can play all day  :D ;D

Yeah, that leak pic looks great, but there is very little grain effect comparing to WIP screenshots. It's shame that you have already shown us those WIPs because I really like the grain effect and now it is reduced to 'minimum' and I'm a little bit dissapointed. But still looking good!  ;)

Nice! New shaders look great and love the snow landscape in the trailer. Now I can't wait to see update about tweaked/enhanced tank combat as that is IMO one of the most disappointing elements in 2.3. Anyway job well done as you have managed to spark my interest in FH2 again! :D

Love the grain effect, it's a bit in your face, but I'm sure it'll be different when we're ingame. Not unlike a ticking clock which you don't hear after a while.

Good to hear that you like it, but it's made by beta tester Kubador for clarification! ;) I have nothing to do with that teaser and don't know who made "Liberation" trailer  :P

With those shaders and blur, camouflage pattern will make its job at 100%.

I would like to see some more vehicle pictures with these effects, and from 100-200 meters away. You know to see if they blend better on the world and don't stand out like some Christmas trees in forest. Like a Panther at the edge of the forest in the shadow of the trees or besides a farmhouse.

I really like how that grain sort of blends everything together, that way models don't stand out too much from each other and from the ground. Maybe camos will work a bit now.
