You can try to disable or kill some cpu/internet hungry background services or processes in windows
The old Gamebooster 3.5 beta from iobit (before razer took over) is a nice and easy software to do this (win 7/Xp) If you dont know to make a batchfile yourself

If you have old harddrive try to defrag it

Disable other users sharing same internet connection

If wireless, put antenna in a better place ex. outdoor on top of building in proper direction

Waiting for next patch is an option, but the difference between waiting for it and not waiting for it is small. Since FH2 uses the Launcher for updates, it is as easy to get the new update with a new install as it is with an already installed game.

So I suggest to make sure you have read all topics here on the subject and tried everything, and then reinstall as soon as possible.

Guys, a friend of mine just installed FH2 and he says that he gets a message saying "server lost connection" whenever he tries to activate his multiplayer account. I guess this is related to DICE ceasing its online support.
Any solutions?

FH2 has nothing to do with DICE ceasing its online support if he's up to date, the latest FH2 version should create his online account on the new master server. Is he trying to create new account or trying to retrive his old BF2 account? The latter won't work and might cause the mentioned problem.
