How to use Anti personel Mines?

I love placing one of them on the ground and the second then on a wall, as most enemies start looking for mines on the ground after they get taken out. ^^

I wish this could be fixed one day ... planting a mine on a wall, seriously ?

Today i tried that, its pretty cool and possible

But.....when you see your entire squad running towards the same spot, and you yell CAREFULL GUYS MINE ON THE WALL? and one of the guys wich name i shall not disclose then answers=you mean this wall?

I bet I can come up with a picture of someone jerryrigggin a mine to detonate on a wall.
So it is ok to have this 'glitch' ingame.

If I have a sniper rifle, I will sometimes place one on the ground and then go prone and lay on it - anyone coming up me will kill us both, but hey the shock and shit in their pants will say more than killing yourself.
Or of course as mentioned if you are in a one entrance only position - like the mosque tower, put the mines at the bottom of the tower.
If you find yourself behind enemy lines put a mine where soliders spawn, or if you shoot someone place mine on your location and then go somewhere else, the precdicatbility of players reasoning will show you how many kills you can get with this method - a player will 9 times out of 10 come back for vengence, smine them again, if they come back a thrid time then frustration will be setting in and their actions will be even more careless... smine them again.

IRL you would hide the explosive behind some cover and append a tripwire. And then there is this story about crooked pictures being mined by the germans when they left a location. The pictures were supposed to be straightened most likely by officers and fussy people. Things like these belonged to the standard repertoire being taught.

Make sure to lay s-mines at all the PAK-40 locations on Villers Bocage.  Typically the two near the farm.  It irks me how many times the advanced team members never disable theses PAKs, and/or find other ways for keeping the germans out of them.  If you're in a tank, blow them up.

If this is from yesterday, he was killed by my hand grenade but those mines killed me and another from our (Axis) team. Capped the flag nevertheless (because our SL was hiding in the corridor further back).

A question - can the S-mines be disarmed? I remember once mining the church staircase on Falaise (seeing that the flag was about to be overrun), but the next thing I know there's two friendly Canucks in the tower with me who weren't there to begin with (and I certainly wasn't a SL). After a while, a German rushes up the stairs and kill us three. I respawn and head instantly back up - but I do not see the mines, and no one has walked into them in the meanwhile.
