Edit:Nevermind,my cd-key is apparently invalid, and I am not going to fucking reinstall again.  Looks like my Fh days are over.

Go to regedit.
Then go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc

Post the first 10 characters you have, otherwise you give us your whole serial.
I shall look if your CD-Key is correct.

I already tried that, but I only entered my cd-key.  What about the first ten digits of the serial?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Battlefield 2\ergc

This contains your CD-key info, but it's not your actual CD-key. It gets converted into a serial number about 100 characters long. That's why simply typing your key in doesn't do anything.

Go into your EA Games\Battlefield 2\Support, open Battlefield 2_code.exe and try re-entering your key there.

That doesn't do anything.  Also, I reinstalled.  Still doesn't work.

I reinstalled.  Then I changed my bf2 registry thing.  Worked this time for some reason.  And i am sorry Staire I will give you moral support, I know your pain.
