Law Abiding Citizen

Acting was very good. Plot was also very good if not a little predictable at times. Overall a must see in theaters. I thought the ending was a bit weak but that may have been just me.

8/10

Watched "9th Company", yesterday. The movie is a bout a group of young Siberian men who join the Soviet Airborne to fight in Afghanistan. I really looked forward to see it because there aren´t many movies covering the Soviet-Afghan war. Fortunately the movie isn´t bad, it follows the "Full Metal Jacket"-style (first basic training, then in the 2nd half the actual fighting is covered) which it does quite well. Some scenes were rather bizare and the shooting was pretty Hollywood-ish (one guy going Rambo with a PKM heavy machine gun) but apart from that the movie was pretty good. Acting was good, special effects nice and the plot was good, too.
8/10
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

Cocktail
- The year was 1986. I wasn't born yet but Tom Cruise was still a hot motherfucker and in this movie he's a bartender in New York with a dream about his own bar franchise.

Pretty sleazy and typical 80's flick

4 out of 10

Porco Rosso
- Loved it. The Adriatic Sea, pirates, seaplanes, smugglers and fascists.

   A fistful of Dynamite              7/10

Exciting, funny and enough action. Very good movie, but i dont think its Sergio Leone`s best movie. It have a very good mood, but not as good as a few of his other movies. It have more action and better effects than most of his movies though. I didnt really know if it should get 7 or 8 of 10, but its more a 7 than an 8 i think.
Its like a typical westernmovie, but its expressed in an original way in a different setting.

Inglourious Basterds by Quentin Tarantino (2009)
in theatre
Starring Brad Pitt, Eli Roth, Christoph Waltz, etc

Great story, although don't like Brad Pitt's performance (probably his worst i've ever seen). WW2 fantasy with slightly politically incorrect content in it. However it is just "quite nice to watch". Gotta praise Waltz for his performance as Hans Landa, the SS Gestapo Colonel, he is absolutely brilliant and gave eerie sensation at the scenes he is in. I gave this 7.5/10

I second that! Terry Gilliam Movies never disappoint!
Plus it features Jonny Depp and Heath Ledger, not to forget Colin Farrell and Jude Law! :)

The Big Gundown
- Zapata Western (basically Spaghetti Western but with some political undertones) with Lee van Cleef playing the protagonist.

Whoa, what a movie. Almost as good as The Good, The Bad, The Ugly. Some amazing moments, the grand finale, the characters (Austrian Baron/Gunslinger!) and the soundtrack (Morricone, with two tunes that are in Inglorious Bastards) is all just 100% great.

Brüno
- Some really great moments in this one. Not as good as Borat but still, some really, really funny and very ironic moments.

"Madonna has one, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie has one and now I got one"

G.I. Joe
- Damn. It's like Transformers 2 but worse. How that's possible I don't wanna know.

Orphan
- Started out so good. A family with some nice kids and one adopted badass Romanian girl. Started out so good but then just flopped.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs... yeah, yeah... I know.. But hey, I thought overall it was actually pretty decent. Buck was awsome... some intense flight sequences, crude humor - funny.. worth the time to watch I guess. 7.5/10

City of God

One of the best movies i ever seen in my life.

The movie takes place in the Brazilian Favelas, Rio de Janeiro. Millions of people lives in these places, conditions are terrible

So yeah, i will give a 10/10 because of the Realism, and i think its based on a true story, maybe
