Remove SL Spawn

Well, here we are again. The squadleaderspawn is simply stupid. Have it like FH0.7, way better than FH2 for now.

Problems: -There arnt enough transport at the mains.
             - Some SL's keep on dieing all the time, which makes it hard to even spawn from him.

 This is FH2, the second incarnation of a mod franchise. Let the Developers make the game in the fashion that they want us to play. If you want to play FH42, there's still plenty of people playing that mod.

 Nobody forced you to spawn off of the Squad leader that keeps dying and besides I am not going to hide in the grass so you can spawn in 15 seconds later.

Squad leader spawn (SLS) is there to keep people together, rather then ahving everybody run off on their own phase and direction. The SLS increases the odds that people stick together and attack together, simply because they all spawn "together" (in the same place that is).

The system has it's flaws such as a lone SL hiding within a flag zone so that his team can capture the flag no matter how many times the enemy kills them. SO no, it ain't perfect.  But if you looked around you may have noticed posts indicating that we will likely see spawns from vehicles such as a APCs in the future. Allowing the creator of a map to use APC spawns instead of squad spawns. But ultimately it will be up to the mapper (and testing) on what seems to create  and encourage the most and bestteam play.

Maybe a sticky thread with already submitted ideas that were officially rejected by the Devs would work wonders here and Lobo wouldn´t be too annoyed by them...

It´s not like I started that thread, I just contributed my oppinion and AFAIK that´s ok. But to prevent further threads like that a sticky thread would be good, or not? Not everyone who joins this forum with suggestions knows automatically what´s wante and what´s unwanted.

Isn't it an all or nothing kind of thing. You either have SQL spawning for the entire mod or you don't. It can't be changed on a map per map basis.

thanks to the Spawn there is some squad that are  moving together ingame :P

Nope...It is up to the mapper if he wants to include it or not.  You can still form squads with SL spawning turned off.  I like it the way it is myself.  The one map I have played without it was fun and all but I most certainly would not want to see all or even most maps without SL spawn.

Yes please, because there's been so much deja-vu lately: Kill messages revisited, 3D iron sights, more and more could it be like PR suggestions, towed arty/paks, APC spawnpoints and heavy bombers. There could be more that I've not listed. Too bad it's not the 130th forums so I could delete most of it.

Though we are missing destroyable children...

I like SL spawn, a good squad leader who can stay alive can use it well.
