"Fun" Weapons
« on: 17-10-2012, 22:10:52 »
The purpose of this is for people to suggest, what im calling "fun" weapons.  These are weapons that would be "easy" to add to the mod without needing a great deal of time and effort.  I would like to see a muzzleloader (musket) and a stick of dynomite.  This would be similar to the angry farmer kit, more along the line of French resistant weapons.  The muzzleloader is the old gun thats been in the family for years and the dynomite is used to destroy german supply lines.  Please try and keep your ideas simple (as this increases the chance of it actually being added  ::)) since there are plenty of threads with crazy ideas already out there.  So start brainstorming and putting ideas out there.  :)

Well this thread is off to a great start... Nice work guys...

Resistance kit sounds like a great idea. Definitely more easter egg-ish kits would add more of an element of fun to the game. I still remember the first time I found the angry farmer kit...  :-*

So much sarcasm.....hahaha  :P

I suggested something like this a while ago, I called it "Personal Weapons." It basically was saying that quite a few soldiers back then took personal weapons like knives, pistols and maybe swords (Jack Churchill lol) to war with them. It seemed well received but I don't think it'll make it into the mod, it's too much work for too little return.

However, I will suggest one kit. A Jack Churchill kit on some D-Day map. Complete with Claymore sword, a bow and arrows, and bagpipes!

Because it doesn't have Maus, obviously. Everyone knows that.
