If you stand on uneven ground, the aimpoint will be affected. This appears to be more obvious on german sights, than on other sights. It might also be slightly more difficult to adjust for, as for example in the circular sights of american tanks.

Yeah, and round landed left of the triangle?  ;D Magic bullet...  ::)

Well known problem for me when i have more than 1 beer in me.
Then i tend to aim with the wrong triangle one of the little triangles on the sides of the big one. Not sure wich sights they are actually.

There are slight differences in the "convergence" of various tanks/guns that's most apparent when firing at a short distance, ie. the gun is offset to the left or right from the centre of crosshairs and shots will pass left/right of it at short range but at long range will eventually connect with the sight. However, I haven't noticed a clear ZOMFG ALLIED BIAS !!!1111§§§½½½ regarding this at all.

When firing at a short distances, just use your brain and take under consideration the difference between position of your barrel and positon of your sights, because unfortunately, in FH2 they cannot be adjusted over the distance (optic sights are only a texture). It's not a rocket science to adjust your aim though, because against the belief of some people here, it is NOT random.

I meant shooting at long distances... And yes, the round spread is random....

Oh my fucking god, yes it is random, slightly, it's called deviation and it is explained here:

Can you provide examples of German tanks that are inaccurate please.

FYI, the deviation for AP:
M4A3 76 winter0.15
Panther A0.15
Hellcat0.15
Pz IV H0.15
JPz IV0.15

The way sights are off is not random and even a monkey can learn to shoot tanks accurately in FH2, I'm sorry you're not able to achieve that.

And value "0.15" - actually what does it mean? Is it 0.15xdistance=round spread [m] ?

No, that would result in 15m of random spread while shooting at your target from 100m and that obviously doesn't happen in FH2. This is how it works on an example of MG42:

...A deviation of 0.2 translates to a spread of 0.34m at 100m...
Assuming code works the same way for other weapons, it means that with deviation of 0.15 you can get a random spread of ~25cm from a distance of 100m which is pretty close to fuck all.

So why every time I fire a gun, the round goes in completely different direction?

Maybe the factory your tanks are coming from put the guns in backwards?  ???

If that's the case, the reason might be the fact, that you have no idea how to aim properly. That's the only explanation. Maybe you should check this video out??

Seems that you haven't seen that video... Because there's nothing about "how to aim properly with tanks"...  ::)
