Do people still play FH2? How is the population these days? I have an upgraded computer and was debating re-installing, but the US servers were always empty in the past.

US players still out of luck, since it is the evening EU primetime when a server is at full capacity.

Its almost as if you should band together and start organizing some sessions more suitable for the US players. ;)
