Some of you said i should give modeling a try.
So i give a try to it^^
My first Model xD A Goliath^^ The Skin need a better Alphachannel for track etc. I will do this later.
In the next days i will try to export the Model to Bf2^^

Could you put it into a map when it's ready? Just for testing it, like the Swordfish and the Tiger.

Nope for that you would need a complete new mod

Nope for that you would need a complete new mod

no just put it in your working fh2 directory and run it.

Mhm i have Wheels and Track on a seperat Textur, cause my unwrap from the Torso was wrong. So there wasnt place for the other things. I forget to use paste and copy in unwrap. But thats makes little parts individual  ;D

Mhm i post .psds and jepgs here. But Model isn´t finished, the back wheel is wrong und the skin of it is the wheel from the P4 desert, to take a look how it will look like^^

Before someone say: Uhh Kraetzer your unwrap for Torsor is terible.... I know it i will never do this mistake again to forget the copy and paste function of unwrap uvw =(
And yeah i know whta is what on the Textur x´D
At the wheel and track Textur i used a uv template to know what is what and then save it without template so it will look crazy for someone who dont skin^^

dont forget there is no Alpha Chanel that transparet Track teeth etc.

1st rule! forget the Copy and paste Function in uvw unwrap in 3ds max! its bugged! :D

if you have some parts which are the same shape uvw it 1 time, uvw map it. and copy it. the model will keep the uvw applied till you edit it.

all parts will share the same uvw space then. if you want to have a seperate Texture on it you can move it later aaround on your uvw.

2nd rule " A good UV map is when you cant write your name on it, without writing on your Model!" Use all the surface. scale parts up.

3rd Rule " Parts you cant see together , can use the same Texture."

About the uvw follow what toddel say. Also even if i didn't check fh1 Goliath uvw imo, you can check how it is.
it will give you some more informations/technics on how to optimize things.
