Accurate medals
« on: 22-11-2016, 10:11:25 »
Can there be medals for different nations with statutes that have to be fulfilled to achieve the medal. For example, the order of victory can be given only to commanders of the soviet teams for successfully coordinating squads and units in an attack which resulted in the enemy's defeat. Another example would be the military cross that was awarded to British officers and above. So that means NCO's and Commanders of the British team can earn them for capturing or defending areas of importance.
That other thread failed miserably and if you try to spam or flame here, I will break your arms.
FH2 won't be the last FH. ;)

The award system in BF2 doesn't really work like that. It's bound to the player and isn't faction specific. And so the awards are generic.

In the official awards back in the days, there were faction specific medals, like the Iron Cross, and the Bulge medal. They were achieved by having an x number of victories as German, or in the case of the Bulge medal, as US on all Bulge maps.

The generic medals were for general skill stuff, like kill an x number of enemies using this and this weapon.
