Gentlemen,

in merely 11 days the wait for Black Mesa: Source, the for 8 years awaited remake of Half Life, will be over.
the first release will come without Xen and the final battle, but the team is working hard to bring that into the mod too.

Some sort of episodic release model is what they should have aimed for since the beginning. At least you have something out of the door people can enjoy and discuss. Looking forward to it though.

This mod is like Duke Nukem Forever, lets hope it won't turn up like it did.

Was a huge fan of this mod for 4 years, then I just lost all interest in it. I get always interested again when they announce release date, this isn't the first time though...

Anyway I'll be there when it's released :)

It's obviously about the rivalry between Black Mesa and Aperture Science. And since Portal is set after the unforeseen consequences... Getting help from Black Mesa is indeed a fat chance. ;D
