Hey guys!

I'm testing COOP stuff on Compagnons. I'm getting a consistent CTD on Lebisey 32. I'm not sure what it could be; I got no log, no info, just a plain CTD. Nonetheless, I think a vehicle could be causing it. So far, the 16 layer is working just fine.

Does anyone experiencing the same? Any ideas?

Thanks guys, so the launcher needs to be re-installed.

I tried this (http://forgottenhope.warumdarum.de/fh2_downloads.php?) download but that seemingly is not the newest version, so after using this setup I got the same result.

Can someone give a link to the launcher setup file on discord?

Just finished the download and got the same error.

EDIT: could someone make this fix available here, or link? I can't access Discord.

EDIT 2: the fix provided by Ekiso works like a charm, launcher works normally again. Unfortunately, I cannot post it here, but it's available on Forgotten Hope 2 #tech-support channel on Discord. Thanks for the heads up, Kelmola!

Hi people!

After some time, I've started playing FH2 again, and I'm following the recent updates with a lot of excitement! New and super detailed maps, new equipment to a number of armies... well, too much to mention here, but a huge 'thank you!' to all the team putting these nice projects ahead.

And I'm more than happy to see Ivan is still giving love to SP/COOP. As I mentioned before, your work is truly appreciated, sir. Indeed!

On the other hand, I have a little question. Virtually, all the vanilla maps have now bot support, but some of the gameplay objects do not reflect the recent updates and additions, specially the latest German (Brummbar, yeah... :o) and Canadian vehicles made available last year or so. Do you consider update these, so COOP can keep up the pace with MP options? AFAIK, most (if not all) of these vehicles already have AI templates, but I couldn't add them manually and make them work by myself.

Of course it cannot be arranged for the upcoming release, but would you consider this as an option for the future?

Once again, thanks for the hard work and the jewels you're bringing this way!

so much stuff got reworked that it doesn't matter if vehicle is old or not, M3 is bugged, but only the spawn variant (can you confirm regular APC variant works fine?) due to a typo in AI template, it will be fixed in an upcoming hotfix patch
I can confirm this. The one that caused the crash is indeed a spawn vehicle. About the AT guns, no clue. Couldn't test enough types and maps, but so far, looks like the static ones do not show any problems. The hotfix will be nice.

Well, the new 1940 maps are true gems; the scenery, details, and historical accuracy are simply awesome (not to mention this beauties came with COOP support straight from the factory  ;D). About Op. Mars, well, I simply loved the map. The atmosphere and the endless horizon brings to my mind comments from German soldiers and commanders alike, how Soviet Russia was immense and gave the feeling of devouring the Wehrmacht. I wanna try it many times more and get the feeling. A wonderful job here.

Well, I'm opening this topic to share some opinions and start some debug on COOP rounds in this latest release.

First of all, I'm very satisfied with the work put on COOP/SP on 2.6. All the new maps have native AI support, which is great! And of course would like to thank Ivan, jan and Matthew for their efforts, as shown on the logfile; these guys put a lot of time to implement single player support, specially for France 1940. Much appreciated!

Apart from that, we have some new vehicles (non-France 1940), but looks like they have no AI support. If the devs could confirm which vehicles have or have not AI support, this info would be really useful.

As for the overall impression, I'm bumping into one bug here and there, but not really big stuff. Actually, I have been receiving a number of alerts indicating no ai support for some older vehicles, followed by the classical CTD. For now, I got these for me or bots trying to use some mobile AT guns (Zis 3, Pak 36) and even on seats inside the M3A1 Halftrack. Someone out there could confirm this?

A considerable number of custom maps are showing incompatibilities with the new patch, mostly related to kits or textures; I'm sharing this just as a sidenote, as you are not responsible for these particular maps, so please indulge me and take this just as a comment.

As a final comment, I would like to share my opinion, but please, again take this just as a thought, not a request: the team made a wonderful job on 2.6 with COOP, but we still have some early maps, specially the initial EF release, that don't have official COOP support. These are still running more or less succesfully (with some tweaks) based on the original Darman's work from 2016 and garylee's Ogledow. But these are getting very old and outdated compared to the latest officially supported levels. Now that Ivan is working on official COOP implementation, the team could use his talents to give these maps official COOP support, updating them to 2.6 standards and equipments. But again, this is just a personal impression, not a request in any way.

Finally, I would like to thank all the team again for this wonderful release! The attention to the details and the love put in all this work is very appreciated. Merci!

Well, the "old news" are exciting as new brand ones! I loved this early-war vehicles, specially the Pz III equipped with 37mm guns and the dual-color livery. Will they be available in plain feldgrau as well?

The latest news are awesome. The less known T19 and the M7 are true gems. They will bring more mobile firepower to the Americans.

Little question: will they have AP ammo available? These were mobile artillery, not designed to operate on the frontlines, but these cannons had some AT capabilities and, if I am not mistaken, some AP rounds were provided in case an enemy tank appeared.

I'd like to congratulate all the team for the work put on this new release, it's much appreciated!

Super cool ordnance! Have never heard of these before, always nice learning something new.

I can see the Finnish Army is getting a lot of attention to complete its arsenal, which is very welcomed! Is the team considering the same about the Regio Esercito? Actually I know nothing about Italian smoke grenades and such (mines, binoculars), but Matthews' B4 really added immersion to Italian maps. Be advised, it's not a request, just a question.

I have not played FH1 for much time, but from these maps, Fall Weiss, Eastern Blitz and Kharkov Outskirts stand out. The first ones for their uniqueness: the Poland Campaign is not a common feature in any game, and I just love the Polish AFVs and the general landscape.

Kharkov is one of the most polished maps in FH1 (at least among those I knew), and full of historical background. Actually, it's a stupend choice for a map, a fundamental moment in the Eastern Front. Maybe we could see something like this portrayed in FH2 someday...

What sad news! Another friend of us is gone, Chad. Really sad news, losing two good people in such short time. What a loss! My condolences to Chad's family and friends.  :'( :'( :'(

Were these guys working on the next patch? It would be a nice tribute to dedicate the latest release in memory of our beloved friends. I don't know, maybe create a commemorative plate to attach somewhere in one of the maps, maybe in a monument like that found in Pegasus. I think it would be a vivid remembrance of their dedication to this mod. Just a thought...
