My first game was CnC. Up to this date it is my favorite game series. Best soundtrack(s) ever by Frank Klepacki.

Generals was also good, but everything after that was destroyed by EA.

Ah cool! Might come back for some games. Battle communication killed the game for me back then. Do tanks go down with one penetrating hit at any distance again?
No, they don't always go down with one penetrating hit at any distance, but on most occassions they do (it depends on caliber though). If you're talking about 2.45 battle communication, then it's gone for long time now, but it's not 1s1k all the time either. When was the last time you played FH2?  ;)
Must have been in 2.45 times. I left for good when Shermans withstood Panther and Pak shots back in 2013, I think. Will give it a go again.

Horrible things.

I don´t like how some Muslims claim that those terrorists "weren´t Muslims". Imagine I would claim that Germans wouldn´t have any responsibility for the Holocaust because those "were the Nazis and not Germans".

I would like to see some more action against extremists from the 95% moderate Muslims. Currently it seems to me they are more busy cleaning their image in the media rather than doing anything.

Meanwhile we have Salafists preaching the Sharia in Germany and nobody does anything against it. The freedom of religion has to be protected but only until it attacks the rights of others. If someone claims that beating your wife is okay or that assaulting someone who insults Muhammad is your duty, then you should be forbidden to preach. If you continue to do so, you should be put into jail.

I feel the state does very little against those radicals who are currently recruiting frustrated immigrants. And here is where moderate Muslims should help. The moment they notice someone preaching hate, they should report him. They should do something and start acting against radicalism. All I see however is people crying how unfair it is that those extremists call themselves Muslims too.

Even if the radiation wasn´t high I would not want to live there. The groundwater and metals might be contaminated etc.

Even today I look that the mushrooms I eat, aren´t from Eastern Europe.

Using a car is either an absolute necessity or the epitome of selfishness.
Most of all it´s fun. I don´t really need my car.

I use it because it saves time, I don´t have to stand in the crowded train or wait for connecting trains. I save about an hour everyday when driving car and I have fun traveling. If you call that selfish, so be it. I call that not being stuck into a wagon like cattle, having to take a train earlier to not come too late. :D

I don´t expect anything from politics any longer considering the situation in Syria.

The cultural heritage of a whole region is about to be destroyed by fanatics, a whole society of religious nutcases is about to establish its own caliphate. The whole intellectual elite leaves the region. Yet nobody intervenes.

Germany sent some weapons to the Kurds - but only after those were almost overrun. The US bomb targets. But nobody dares to send troops there who could actually secure the region. Nobody wants to get his hands dirty. To a large extend Putin can be blamed for this, as he´s blocking any attempt to get rid of his good old friend Assad.

And then politicians wonder how Europe can handle all the refugees. I wouldn´t even be surprised if it turned out Putin calculates on floods of refugees weakening the European economy.

That being said, the Turkish army attacking the Kurds is simply dumb. Erdogan lacks to see the bigger picture. He just utilizes the situation for his own interests. And now innocent Turkish soldiers are facing the consequences.

= Soviet tanks remain fine,
How are they fine? They are batshit overpowered. Just today I fired three shots at a T-34/85 with my Panther - all three penetrations. I even hit the ammo rack. Yet the T-34 remained intact - finishing me with one penetrating hit.

And this is about 3/4th of the engagements I experience ingame. Soviet tanks get penetrated but never destroyed. A sneaky way to secretly keep the Russians the best faction. :D

Turns out a German had a fucking Panther tank in his basement...

Edit: Neighbors say that he used it as a snow plow in his garden. How many Panthers in running condition are there?

As long as they do not scream about their "rights" and reverse our value system, all is good.
What is that value System we are talking about here? In every civilized country it should be the constitution.

Marriage and Family are valued and have to be protected - in the German constitution and I guess in other ones as well. But that only means the marriage mustn´t be disadvantaged.

How  is the regular marriage at a disadvantage if also homosexual couples can marry? Much more on the contrary: Doesn´t that lead to more people engaging in marriage? The institution the state is supposed to promote?

Marriage is only between man and woman.
Who says that? The pope who never had a wife and kids of his own? Or the guys living in the desert 2000 years ago?

Germany got a well deserved zero points.

Some people in the news are a bit astonished. I´m not.

Dude, you think she likes it you posting this story with her picture on the internet ???
You call that a story? Damaso had stories to tell back in the day. This is merely an anecdote.
