To all the fitness guys here

Do you eat protein before or after your workout?
After the workout. Before you workout you need energy. Energy is in carbohydrates. 1-2 hours before you train you should eat a portion of oatmeal, noodles etc.

During the course of the training your muscles get small cracks and later need protein to build up.

Though tbh I don´t see much of a problem eating the protein before your workout as long as you have a sufficient and steady supply of both carbohydrates and protein.

Have a WW2 Russian TT-33 Tokarev. My first WW2 Pistol, quite happy with it.
Aren´t those known to go off quite easily - even when the safety is in? Be careful.

So there seems to be a spiderman porn.

And then someone remixed it.

What a time to be alive.

Well Fury never claimed to be historically accurate, nor "inspired by true story" malarkey.
As far as I remember they however bragged about the historic advice the Bovington tank museum gave them.

Does this Sevastopol movie features the gigantic Gustav Gun?
If not, that's a final laugh in the silliness train of this movie for you. Highly nationalistic, yet forgot the most glaring moment of it: withstanding the barrage from the biggest gun ever used in battle.
No Gustav gun. It´s more abotu protecting some trenches rather than the city itself.

Somehow, I wanted to say its British bias to compliment BoB...
Band of Brothers? How is that biased? There are episodes where the Allies get defeated (Episode called "Replacements") and that´s the only Episode I can think of where there are Brits.

I take it that "Pearl Harbor (2002)" main plot was romance, and war was its subplot then?
The problem with some war movies is that they want to make them appealing to a broader audience. And this includes women. Your stereotypical woman wants a love plot.

I watched "Red Sniper". God that was a mistake. I only watched it til the end because my brother and I were making fun of it.
Is it a bit like the Russian movie about Stalingrad? And is this in cinemas right now?
It is a movie about the battle of Sevastopol. I guess that´s the original title then. There is a small part that reminds you of the sniper duel from "Enemy at the gates". The Germans ultimately send a sniper of their own to kill the protagonist.

Spoiler
It is over in 5 minutes though. The way she defeats that German sniper is also ridiculous. She jumps out of cover taking a hit only to hit the sniper herself.

It´s just straight up from Putins butthole.

The way Russia was depicted before the German invasion reminded me of the Shire in LotR. Everything is green and you only see top notch palaces and houses (the opera, the University, rich peoples home).

The first battle scene resulted in a Panzer III being ignited by hitting it in the engine with a Mosin. I still don´t get it. Before that the driver was killed by shooting the vision armored glass twice.

Later on the Germans were depicted as silly. Running away screaming "Ahhhh" in terror and - I´m not joking - confusedly setting their monocle in place.

Not enough. The movie brought up the question "Why are the Americans so coward and not supporting us with troops" about four times. The Americans however managed to escape the question by playing music loudly.

The best thing are some reviews in the internet. On youtube the comment section is locked. On amazon someone downvoted the critical reviews and the positive reviews appeared in a pattern. Every day one positive review. Putins troll fabric in action.

I give it 2/10 for the lols.

Here is one thing I wondered about: The MG42 fired at about 1250 rounds per minute. Some say this rate of fire is too high. Also it shared the ammunition with the Kar98k, the 7,92x57 bullet.

Would it be possible to lower the rate of fire by taking bullets out of the belt of the MG42 (as in: One bullet, one empty spot, one bullet, one empty spot...) and did the Germans do this? Either to lower the rate of fire or to get more ammunition for their Kar98ks? Or does that result in the gun jamming?

What doesn´t get into my head is how slow the EU reacts. Our minister of interior just told the press that the European secret services  and police of each country have to work better together and share information. The same thing he promised in November after the Paris attacks.

even faster then damaso got banned here
Now that you mention it: I wonder what he would have to say about this topic.

As usual, keep this thread from any racist comments or insinuations about entire religions etc.

Will clean up thread when needed.
Racist? Really?

I can´t wait for the fat guy from the German council of Muslims to appear on television a third time within a year telling me Islam is peace.
And he is right. The majority of Muslims don't do crap like this and you know that. These salafists from Daesh and related groups are idiots and have nothing to do with what most Muslims believe in.
Let´s say me and my family had a lot of bad experiences with Muslims. The most recent including a bunch of third generation immigrants walking up to my sister in the middle of the night asking "can we fuck you?" There is something about Islam, especially the role of the woman and much more. Not every Muslim is bad. But this religion has disproportionately immense problems to integrate into western society. But if you mention it, you will hit a wall. Islam isn´t peace. The people are good, but Islam itself seems to have huge problems with the modern world. Imo more so than other religions.

Rule 3. Triple check condoms before insertion
This is gonna be SO romantic...
Nobody of you will ever be "licking a hookers vagina" - romantic. If you find yourself in a complicated situation with girls, just ask yourself: WWDD?
