It was not just a summer break, things been literally dead for several months, not only for the summer. But now people are getting that much needed injection of motivation (not to mention all that precious time needed for such projects) to get the work done for next release. Mind you, next release is still a long way ahead but now at least there seems to be a future, which you couldnt say the same few months back.

That's great news 8) can't wait to see what's in store that will blow our entire collective minds ;)

The guys over in the development and testing team is doing grand job with the hands they have. If you have any sort of talents when it comes to BF2 modding and you can spare the valuable time that we all have only a limited amount of, you should definitely take a chance at offering any kind of help you can to those guys.

I have experience in object modelling and texturing (weapons/ vehicles etc..) last I heard they were in need of static modelers and mappers tho

Well i am thankful for what has been accomplished up to now & have accepted the fact that the Eastern Front will probably be as far as it goes.

We have all been part of history. The Last decade has taken this brand new invention called computer technology to new places. FH was on the forefront of something new called "Modding" & re-created award winning games for all of us to play

  Its been a good run...
 :(

Getting old, jimi? It seems like you simply revisit this thread from time to time to post the same pessimistic stuff over and over again, without reading what is being written about current state of development.

Was about to say that, it looked more like a bridge going over water rather than some metallic joint.

That's not a flagpole, guys. Think more natural.

@jimi: well, I was just wondering. If wisdom listens, however, why don't you? Several testers amnd some devs have confirmed that development has picked up, yet you seem to miss that everytime and re-post some pessismism. I do'nt think that's helpful in any way and I'm sorry to read it.

Agreed. Unfortunately, I have this nasty habit of seeing the big picture. Its a curse really.

..but dammit its absolutely not a flagpole, its part of a tank track.

Cant we see a larger image?
