Actually it's on this thread also:

Nissi's old project.

Ahh I see. Hell of a great looking map. I'd love to download and take a look at it. Very refreshing to see someone take on a historically accurate Omaha.

Look what I found on PR's Forum:

Quote
Lastly is not related to the French, but news about a recent development with our developer friends over at Forgotten Hope 2, we've decided to trade usage rights of the No. 4 rifle with the SMLE MKIII* pictured above. Reasons being that it is by opinion of the team a higher quality asset, and (in the case of the sniper variant) can allow for the use of the iron sights even with a scope mounted. The Enfield will remain in common use with the Taliban faction, despite us implementing the Mosin Nagant series. In fact as BLUFOR, you might be running into both of these ancient yet powerful workhorses at the same time.

So will we finally see this also in FH 2, or the devs are still just considering it?
This sentence is intentionally left unfinished...

dafuq, did they slap the No.4 scope on the No.1 rifle? also had no idea No.4 with scope couldn't use ironsights :(

and tbh they are going to implement it, when I posted it in the suggestion thread, Lightning's response wasn't a dreamcrush but an approval, actually. ;)

If we see Foy in 2.5 or whenever, god I hope it is like the Band of Brothers Foy scene. I want to re-enact that scene more than anything in my life  :P

The Bois Jacques are (is?) to the southwest of the village. You can actually still find the foxholes the 506th dug during the siege in the woods there :) pretty astounding.

Really, really hope Foy find its way into the mod for the next release!

But where is it in the picture?
I could of sworn Foy was near a forest!

No shit? If you look closely, then you might see that the image Jimi posted shows only the town itself... the woods would be further away if the photograph was taken from bigger distance.

Foy was actually a good few hundred yards away from the Bois Jacques, unlike in BoB where they depict the town a stones throw from where Easy was dug in.

But less geography and more conspiracy please...

I always thought it never made sense to have HQ so close to the town you were about to attack :P that makes a lot more sense.
