How common were Mannlicher rifles in WWII Greece?

If reasonably common then could one show up here in a pickup kit? I don't have a model but that Hungarian mod might have a Steyr if not a Schoenhauer.

To balance things, the player amount of Italians vs greeks should be 10 : 1

Not as high as the finnish, but still needed

Jesus stop the circle jerk and rather comment on the new layout of the map.

What circle jerk? I'd only like to see some variety in the K98-SMLE monotony of service rifles not an Evzone class. I can't imagine most Greeks would dress all that different from the Brits/Aussies for actual combat anyhow.

I haven't tried the changed layout but I did like the old one, especially the small fort.

I like the solidarization of the Monastery flag. That you don't need to cap it to go to Leptokarie or Station. And the extra Matilda? How's THAT cool? After WoT I'm seriously watching out for that baby. Wacky tank. Survives anything. I see why the Gerries were afraid of those.

True, this was the best change to the map!
Now you can decide if a extra vehicle is worth the detour, or continue fighting for the important flags. :)

"With bayonet tight up on the soldiers hand"

It sounds cool does it not?

On a quick note, this map is massively improved in 2.3

It just plays alot better, more action going on. This was a very underrated map before the remake that now should be more appealing to everyone. Hopefully it will come on the servers more often now aswell.

I wouldn't take too seriously the feedback from hslan. I've played there and it is a tradition to hate this map and do everything to take it out of the map cycle. Half the players leave, mostly run-and-gunners "vets" who want to have their own map cycle, and the rest are barely fighting.

No offense to the hslan team and some good players down there...

About the changes in 2.3 : The new tanks are good, but I prefer the way flags were set before. Both teams had a chance to cap some flags from the start without too much losses, and as there was no push some real strategy was possible...

I think this map needs pick up mortar kits for both sides. ( at the bases )

 Reason 1 :
Light howitzers are so vulnerable, people just camp on the hills with at rifles and continuously destroy them.

 Reason 2 :
If a team controls all the map other team has no artillery support.
E.g. axis team has no artillery at the start of the round because allied team conrols all the map and if axis team managed to capture all positions allied team lose all of their artillery support which makes impossible to counter attack.
Basically, axis bias has removed. Glad its being noticed.

Is it possible we could get the Matilda to spawn as soon as Monastery is captured? Currently it's a 5 minute wait, which is pretty unfair for a lot of reasons.
