FH 0.7 Help / Support / Re: How do I use this admin command?
« on: 23-01-2018, 20:01:02 »
The ID is the number in the red squares: https://i.imgur.com/7pmfBvI.png

Only human players have an (visible) ID iirc.

Look through the ai class (http://www.velotech.net/battlefield/commands.php?dothis=list&view=Commands&game=BF1942&category=ai) You could try ai.killAllBots for example.

Are you sure you didn't see this in FH1? Because it sounds 100% like that map :P http://forgottenhope.warumdarum.de/maps.php?scenario=1&map=31

Montoya and FH1 are long gone so I'm not sure if stolen models are still seen as a crime.

Wait, doesn't a Pixel-Fighter server with 26 concurrent players count as alive?
Yes it's still being played, with "long gone" I meant the development of the mod.

Didn't know where to post this, so sorry for bump.

I found this model: http://www.moddb.com/mods/warfront1/images/ingame-shots-of-panzer-ii-and-t-264

You can see that it's the FH model just by comparing it with the official render: http://forgottenhope.warumdarum.de/images/vehicles/T-26/big.jpg

I didn't check all pictures but I think there might be more models/textures from FH. Montoya and FH1 are long gone so I'm not sure if stolen models are still seen as a crime.

FH 0.7 Help / Support / Re: Navmesh for FH1
« on: 20-01-2017, 19:01:58 »
Coding AI in BF1942 is very different to BF2. You only have 2D pathmaps in BF1942 no 3D navmeshes, that's the reason why bots in BF1942 bug out in houses/trenches and can't use submarines. Coding AI in BF1942 is very limited and afaik it's generally not possible to make a proper naval map with them so for Rheinuebung (I guess that's what you mean?) you're out of luck.

EDIT: does anyone know of FHSW's 'main' website? Where they post all of their updates? I follow it occasionally on moddb, but I don't think that's the most up to date. Also, any list of weapons and vehicles that they've added? Similar tot he weapon and vehicle list on the sidebar of this website?
Afaik there is no official site, only the dev blog: http://wbmuse.blog89.fc2.com/

moddb is up to date as far as I can see. All vehicles you can find here, it includes FH and FHSW vehicles though: http://fhsw.wikia.com/wiki/Vehicles

I'm guessing you installed it into the wrong folder. Is there a folder called "FH" in ..\Battlefield 1942\Mods\?

FH 0.7 Help / Support / Re: Running an FH server
« on: 09-02-2016, 18:02:49 »
I'm running FHSW on a Win 2012 server, I haven't noticed any problems. I had to set BFSM.exe to Win XP compatibility mode but that was it iirc.

Great event guys with up to 62 players, now I'm really looking forward to the tournament!

Here's some footage from yesterday as appetizer. :D

Modding / Re: My First Real Attempt at Modeling (Go Easy)
« on: 18-02-2013, 23:02:10 »
I'm just a noob modeller by myself but the top part doesn't look smoothed and isn't the model a bit too highpoly for FH2 (€: ah okay, you explained that my bad)? But good work for your first model, looks like an exact copy of the real thing.

Wow, really?
I haven't played for a few weeks now but if this is possible, there should be a ton of guys online from now on.
Yes, I hope for a couple of new faces. :)

Is PrinceUmeboshi going to use the same code? if so, then it's time I get the Origin version of BF42.
I don't think they're using it but I can't play on their server so I don't know for sure.

Still alive in 2013 and for events the player numbers have actually increased. Current version is 0.51.

Through some editing of the server files the server allows now players of the CD and Origin version of BF1942 to join.

The first event with these new settings will be held on the upcoming Saturday+Sunday and features the battles around and on the mainland of Japan.

The best LP of this game and one of my favorites of all time is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7y0eW_gkLxk (77 Episodes)

Contrary to the majority of LPs on youtube this guy knows what he's doing which makes it really enjoyable and I learned quite a bit when I watched it some years ago. I only played RTS's online before so that really helped me to have a good start in the FPS online world.
