Mp40 sounds like its shooting air :P Personally I much prefer the beretta above the mp40.
If it was used as stated here, completely up to the mapper.

True true. The old pre-release MP40 sound is better  ;D.

True, but if you say the MP40 sounds like shooting air, the Beretta sounds like shooting thinner air. Maybe it's originally for mountain troops.
I wonder, as bratwurst is now a member of the dev team iirc, will we se some changes to the sounds? Any background infos, ideas, propaganda material?

Is it possible that that isn't a beretta smg but an MP41?

It got air cooling holes Hawkeye  :P Thus it can only be a Beretta or a Hungarian/Rumanian copy. Sorry I always confuse those last 2 countries.
You know, in 1943 Italy swapped sides so Germany fought against Italy and captured alot of their weapons since the Italian fighting spirit was as low as it can go and everything the Germans capture, they use.
And MP41 was indeed more an MP weapon. Oh and SS I think.

The MP41 was only used by police and SS  second line forces. They were also sold to Hungary and\or Romania.

If it was used as stated here, completely up to the mapper.

Yes, but don't they need a kit made with german grenades etc. they can use? Or is there an easy way to create those in the editor?

Putting a kit together with stuff that's already in the files is done pretty quickly.  :)
