WWII reenacting is something new in my country but since now people have started doing some small events I really want to join as I have always been interested in reenactment. I'm currently trying to build a waffen SS uniform and am facing a small issue. I need to buy trousers however the biggest size i could find was 42 inch waist. Unfortunately that would not fit me and I need at least 46 inch. I usually order form http://www.sofmilitary.co.uk. Can someone suggest a different site where I can find and order bigger ones? Also can someone give me advise for the field equipment or suggest some guide or something for SS uniforms? I would really appreciate it.

First off, you should be joining a reenactment unit first, not just building an impression on your own.  Almost all reenacting is unit based, in order to plan, have cohesion, jointly research, etc.

Secondaly, SOF is pretty shitty.  Look at Hessen Antique, At the Front, 1944 militaria, SM Wholesale, or such.  There are also very good tailors for custom done uniforms who operate on facebook, like Beauregard's Tailor.

Also, READ.  Get books and read a lot.  Osprey Publishing is an excellent primer, after which you can burrow into forums, collector's guides, and other specialist series.

Thank you for your reply. Looks like I've got a lot of things to do to get my uniform right.

You might want to binge read this 103 page-long thread about historical reenacting:
