Question: I noticed you split up some of the archives into multiple ones (archives 1-5 for sounds for example). What was the reason for this? Does it speed up loading times?
This was done to optimize sizes of future patches.

To sum up:
Gold Beach: Really nice map, but difficult to win for Allies.
Omaha Beach: as expected, unplayable for Americans...  ::)

Too early too tell, but my fear that Omhaha Beach might be a walk in the park for the US has been proven unfounded.

Understand the beach part is the hardest part of the map, after taking the the three Wilderstand nests, it will become a steamroll operation

I’m with you. If it’s uncap mainbase — sure. But any push flag should be fair game. Attackers establishing forward positions, or defenders left behind enemy lines to harass the enemy. Push mode there only to facilitate more focused combat on the front line, but it is war and no one in war be all “please” and “thank you” stick to the front line only.

Chad1992, could you provide more details on the error?
Was it a clean install (that is, no FH2 or BF2 has been previously installed on the PC)?
When did it happen? On the first run of the launcher?
Does the error still appear for you?

60+ :).. Beach was very hard to enter in the beginning.. but that's the point. It needs to be hard, and require teamwork between SL with smoke, artillery ships and sniper/spotters. I am pretty sure, that in one week, it will be much easier for the allies (when ship arty is used more effectively and so on). Then of course, some people don't enjoy being killed 12 times in a row without getting and kills themselves. And i, as SL got no kills the entire round, but i lead my squad to cap one of the WN positions and in the end we won the round, i had a great time.
