Port en Bessin: analyzing the pictures
« on: 11-03-2010, 02:03:03 »

I love this map so far, just wanted to point out a few things that need to be improved(maybe).

It looks empty, not enough atmosphere in it, looks empty.

Look at Pointe du Hoc, lots of atmosphere, PHL is full of atmosphere, I love it. Looks like a really realistic scenario.

I love Port de Bessin, good job just wanted to point out a few things, Good job looks like a good map, I am not disappointed, my impressions.

Good job Fh2 team, can't wait to see you on the battlefield soldiers!

If you played it first, then perhaps you'd be able to see the atmosphere fully. I wouldn't make a judgment solely on pictures, because they may have left something out on purpose for a surprise or such, and the fact that you can't see the whole map

So it looks ... empty?

But yea don't judge a book by its cover. I really doubt the devs would release a map that isn't just as jam-packed full of detail as all other FH2 maps released this far.

Yeah, thought the same Mudra  :D

To your impressions: The map is not empty, it´s full of action, but also of sneaky routes. Even with only 30 players we had lots of fun on this map.
We need to be able, to throw Thermos out of Spotterplanes.

yeah, and it was noted back, that the woman that lived there left before the allied invasion and she, for some absurd reason, decided to take the stairs with her along with all the cats.

It was talked about for months by the residence of the town and the Axis guards in the area, what a weird person she was. Nothing was ever heard or seen of her again but story has it that she was the original role model for the stereotypical Cat Lady while other stories say that she was the real Marry Poppins.

People are still reminded by her when they walk that street, for the stairs are still missing.

Maybe we should change this topic in FH2 analyzing the pictures so i can place PHL, Point du Hoc, Villers Bocage, Omaha beach, Utah beach, ST Lo, St Mere Englise, Purple heart lane etc etc pics  ;)
