Cool stuff.

We were playing on that big map with Helicopters and Airplanes as American, walking towards Cutoff Platoon flag, armed with a M-60 when a bunch of Vietnamese ambushed us. Felt nice, the firefight was intense and well organized.

Nice Minimod, something fresh, takes you away from Talibans and Iraki Insurgents for a while.

Quite a few kinks to work out but overall good fun. Happy they have a big enough team to polish it out now.

I think CCR is probably the most typical music from any movie/video game about the Vietnam War. Each time I was playing Bf Vietnam I was listenning my CCR albums :P  Just for this I will download PR vietam, can't wait to play on a rainning map in a Huey listenning this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0-Kv1k41Kw&feature=fvst

Is it more exciting than regular PR?  I don't mean that to start a flamewar, but I mean is it any closer to FH2, as in more frequent fighting and less walking?

Yes, as a PR player since 2007 this PR:V is way more intense, more CQB and the firefights are more intense since you don't have scopes on your weapons.

No AA weapons for now. M21 for sniper, but there's no marksman kit.

The NVA uses a scoped mosin nagant for their sniper.

It's been out for three months :p.

Lots played it the first few weeks, but we needed to sort out some bugs. We did, but ever since that update, things went downhill unfortunately. The auto-updater we provided bailed on us on (beta 2) release day and many (apparently) didn't know about the manual installer we provide through the website.

Get that shit sorted at once!  This mod was the most fun I have had with BF2 in a long time.
