It's mine indeed, thread is called "Post your Ride", no? ;)
It's in good condition, but there are always things to do on it like with any +20 year old car.

Everyone who is working on this mod is doing it to their full capability. The problem is that we could always use more hands from talented and skilled people who are willing to be as commited as the rest of the FH-team.

My beloved Lancia Delta HF integrale 16v:

Strengthened gearbox, lower & stiffer springs, slight power increase from 200 bhp to 260 bhp + some other small extras here and there.

German flamethrower should be a pick-up kit on Pavlov's House.

Yes the angle system that is currently in is not even half as realistic as it should be. In BF1942 & FH1 it worked much better.

Also, removing the hit indicator would prevent a lot of lame sniping and blind firing (especially if you remove the kill messages too).

Well people are still going try their luck, but they won't get feedback if they killed someone or not.

I've played games with no hit detection. Makes almost no difference to the "fun" of the game at all. If something, it adds more excitement. The point might just be, that if you always shouldn't be able to tell if you killed an enemy or not if you can't see it with your own eyes. It could even be something that adds depth.
This could be more fun for you as a player when someone is shooting at you, knowing that there isn't always going to be someone coming after you like some hitman.
I can understand why someone would want to make this change. It could add immersion, and a slight tingling sensation of excitement. Everything doesn't always have to be aimed at increasing "TEH FUN". There are lots of things that I like to do, but that I don't describe as fun. Maths for instance, it's not fun _at_all_, but solving problems can be extremely rewarding!

You shoot someone. If he falls to the ground -> You have killed him -> Feedback, your enemy is now dead. End. Even a 5 year old kid can understand this.

Hit indicators, score and other things is redundant information, it is just telling you the same thing as an enemy you were shooting at falling to the ground. The more redundant information you give to the player the more sure you can be that what you want to communicate is coming through to the player.
My opinion is that just because something is a _game_, you don't have to send the players lots of redundant information. IMO there is nothing wrong to require the player's attention or perhaps even be vague.
It could for example be useful for your enemy (who also is a human player, not a BOT!) to know that you on the other side of the bullet can't always be 100% sure of your enemy's death.

A bit silly to complain about not winning when the rules were clear even before the voting started - mods that previously have won MOTY can't win again. This will apply to FH2 for next year's voting :)
