Again major problems with getting FH2 to work

Hello again.

After installing FH2 (i did remove my previous installed FH2 with windows program remover)
Im getting shader errors AGAIN!!

Shaders/StaticMesh.fx not found!!! _DO_ check your working directory, _AND_ sync your shaders folder before calling upon your local rendering programmer/GP. (really)

Also saying it cant find the right pad like on more errors i get like these

"Failed to move 'mods/FH/Movies/warning.bik-disabled not able to find the given pad"
And
"failed to move'mods/fh2/shaders-client.zip' back to 'mods/fh2/shaders-client.zip' "




ANd i believe i did pick the right link for downloading

Well did extract it where he told me to extract it but seems to have no effect

new addition to errors, here it is!!

Cannot enumerate maps:mods/fh2/levels does not excist

+ can some tell me the correct version i should have for BF2 ? so i can compare it to my own ?

2.15 is what you need to play along with BF2 patch 1.41
 I only know of a few fixes and i therefore cannot be of much more help but answer these questions please for the benefit of anyone who can help you eventually.

1) what OS are you using (if Vista ensure you are employing administrator privileges)
2) are you starting game with Fh2.exe?
3) did you ever try using the Fh2 toolbox to delete your shaders? (options- delete graphics cache)
4) did you download the full patch for Fh 2.15? (around 1,3 gigs size)

someone will be along to help you out with more info and hopefully a fix if we have enough info from you.

hi thanks for the reply.

I am using vista yes and it says i am the admin.
when i try to empy grahic cache with the toolbar it says none are found..
i start FH2 in the map its placed in.
 and i download a file 1.6gb big

Ive now started downloading patch 1.41 if i havnt installed it previously im terribly sorry if this is the fix but youll hear from me

 In order you need BF2 installed, then patched to 1.41.

Once that is done, then you can install Fh2.15 full (you have correct sized download)

Start game only with FH2.exe and always exit game properly through menu. As a final check, make sure your Punkbuster is updated, you can reconcile your version against www.evenbalance.com (official site for PB).

many of us have had issues with PB auto updater, so if you visit evenbalance, do yourself a favour and get a copy of PBsetup.exe.

Well i havee same problems everything updated so tha cant be the problem, still getting the same problems i was having before.
Only im dutch so i need to know if that BF2.exe means the same as when in my dutch version of vista it says
FH2 toepassing, it means something like application, the only Fh2.exe file i can find is  a text file.

Dude I think your seriously fucked up your BF2 and FH2 installations.
Now go and uninstall everything BF2 and FH2 related and then do the whole installation again only this time do it properly.

Fh2.exe is inderdaad de toepassing/snelkoppeling. Als ik t goed begrepen heb delete fh2 of verfucked fh2 de shaders als je de game verkeerd opstart en afsluit( dus geen ~ console QUIT)
Alles gepatched? 1.41 idd
Bf2 deinstaleren en herinstaleren
patchen naar 1.41
Fh2.15 installen
 als er niks aan de hand is met de cd zou die t dan gewoon weer moeten doen, kost alleen weer een halve middag maarjaaaa

Je moet alle bestanden die je nodig hebt (patches en FH installer) in je backup bewaren, dan kost het niet een halve middag, maar slechts een half uur
