Have you played it with 2.4 patch? Its really nice map to play now. At least i had fun, blasting downhill with my jeep at the speed of sound.

So what is new? It was exactly like that pre-2.4. Apart from the fact that the tanking will make things a tad slower than used to be, AT guns haven't changed.

And you can still shoot enemy tanks from almost any base. Apart from an overhaul, this map CAN"T get better. It looks, and will continue to look like a NA test map, rather than any real place.

Fine, if a good number of fans voted it in, but imo, its a terrible map game-play wise, and an ugly duck visually. I respect all the mappers, and I dont mean to retract from the devs' work, but you don't always get 100% great maps. And Arberdeen is that fail percentage

PLISS MASTERS, PLISS
can we have at least one round recorded on Battlerecorder.  There's so much awesome in Fh2 right now, but no way of recording new movies :( I know the movie community is tiny in comparrison to everything else, but, well, please put battlerecorder on teh serv0rz and I will show you what my new 64bit Adobe After Effects CS5 can do.  Capten got a sniff-whiff of something I was working on a while ago, the guy shit his balls when he saw it.

Cant agree with you there, the map is perfect for playing cat & mice with tanks in the maze of sanddunes and hills... It doesn't matter if it's not good looking, or realistic looking..
This sentence is intentionally left unfinished...

I didnt mention in the announcement, but battlerecorder is ON during the Game Night. I didnt mention it because in the past no one gave a damn about it, so I thought there was no demand for such. However, it is on by default unless theres a good reason for it to not be (such as the 100+ player GN we had).

So yes to clarify: Battlerecorder is ON during GN18.

who's awesome,... you're awesome!

I don't have any 2.4 BR recordings, and any previous BR recordings are now redundant as you can't replay them unless you have the previous (or correct) version of FH2 installed.  Recording movies in 'first person' is not my thing, I did try it, but imo the fov is too small to show FH2.4 off.

FH Team / Community Manager(s) ---

You should take advantage of the tools your Steam Group has to offer in regards to such things such as the Upcoming game night --

1.  Announcements with text, time & links

2.  Event Reminders can be set at any time.

3.  Other events/reminders/notifications about news, updates, downloads, etc.

The steam group here - http://steamcommunity.com/groups/fhcommunity/members has 291 members that can be rounded up to join a game.

Just a thought.

I should know since founded that group. Thanks for the tip but I've never had problems filling a GN server. And I have never bothered doing scheduled events using it. Thanks anyways.

We are about to start in few minutes. But un/fortunately I have to let you guys know that I am possibly absent for the most of the event. I am currently busy with a lot of things and I cant promise you I will be able to play with you all even if I'd liked. However I hope you all have a wonderful and enjoyable Game Night tonight and I hope to pay you guys a visit.

Do me a favor, give me feedback how it all went. I need to know if you guys had fun or if it was totally balls.

Cheers guys!

EDIT: Oh btw, the ranks are enabled!
