I would to have main gun sights magnification.

Well if I'm not mistaken, they didn't have those, they only had tank commanders that directed fire from up top with binos. That's what I like 2 do on Pz4s.

Well in PR u have tanks with very difficult handiling, on 1 track, they can still move but turning the turret and such is disabled, I think. U have 2 wait for repair station. It basically shows as u would pop a tire and the vehicle leans on one side. BUT it bounces and shakes.

Oh tank gaad, I though meant normal smoke grenades. For a minute is was like ...............    WHAAAAAAAAAATTT!?!?!??!?!!  but then I figured out it was about the smoke grenades generated by squad leader command/order points.

About racing..... I tried with a friend, he was in Panther,I was in Pz4. He was at least 10km/h faster than me.
About the 3rd person view, yeah, it' 2 much, I usually switch 2 3rd person when driving cars, APCs etc..
About the Cromwell being that fast, i think it's real. He's a Medium/light tank with a Sherm V (75mm) gun on it. Has long tracks and not many armor, nor is it bulcky - so yes, he's fast.

The first two rockets can be fired at any angle.  In fact, I've seen someone park it on Luttich and fire off the first two rockets at a flag, raise elevation, fire off the last four randomly, retreat and repeat once it reloads.

You can tell exactly when you will blow yourself up.  If you right click, you get a better view of the launchers and can line them up correctly so they don't hit the one in front.  You can depress enough so it's almost like the next launcher is resting on the previous launcher, if the previous launcher was a few inches longer.  That's the minimum you can hit with the last four rockets without blowing yourself up.

I think you may be reffering to me  in the first part ;)  ::)
Was thinking about how could I use it effectively, and that was the only thing sensable enough

Notice that Threatty's videos are in 2.2

Well i wasn't looking about game versions at the time, but I just picked up the style of shooting on longer ranges. BUT I?ll never get used the d Tommy recoil. It's just 2 much for me.

OFC In my defense, I'll have 2 say that in CQB you'll see me hip-firing an SMG as it's the best way of tracking your target. (plus I have great reflexes and a keen sense for aiming center)

The base or arty system is spotting and directing fire, if u spot something, the arty guy zeros in the dials and he hits somewhere of , than u need 2 tell him where 2 shoot, pull up, pull down, left, right. U can't just spot and leave the guy guessing "Am i gonna hit the target, who is there, where should it land?"...

BTW Team-CoOp for arty, if you're on an arty make a squad for it and have at least 2 of each (spotters/gunners)

If I may say, the only solution 2 the matter of running a bit forward then stopping could only be done with bleeding health/armor. U get hit, go down 2 10% then u start bleeding armor until it reaches 0% then u explode or just crumble.

Going back 2 the original post. Recoil for SMGs. My opinion is that the Sten has the lowest possible recoil of them all, followed by Beretta, MP40 (since there's no MP38),then Thompson at the end. But it makes u think, the 50round cartridge of the Tommy should give it enough weight 2 NOT have that much recoil.

I saw a video done by Threatty and I emmediately started doing the counteraction for recoil on longer then 30m. I think it's because the people are used 2 low recoil in other FPS games that the whine about the mass of it in FH.

As for rifles, they are perfectly balanced. Quick-shooting with the Garand and G43 is not gonna get u anywhere unless u're in a CQB.

MGs? I don't know from experience but they should have easier recoil on deployed prone stance. Yes, the jerking around recoil but not going skywards !?!

Tactics & Tutorials / Re: Satchel charge
« on: 23-01-2010, 18:01:31 »
Well I don't know about the Panthers. Last time I tried it was like ... I threw 5 Satchels on it and it still wasn't dead :9      U can imagine how i felt after running around the tank and back 2 ammo box 2 times?

And should I mention that somebody was aiming at it with Piat?

But none the less I love running around with Engineer kit. U can repair, shoot at long & close range, knife kill and BOMB THE SITH out if anything that walks or crawls on threads. - Nothing like bursting running through a flag zone and lay 1 down for the enemies 2 "pickup", know what I mean? :DD
