Agree with Ts4ever. Ajs should apply as a modeler. He definitely has the skills to model. He only needs to learn how to model for the bf2 engine.

Nope we don´t take Applicants anymore.

AJS is welcome to have an talk in TS2 with me, so i can see on what level he is.
Then we see how to improve his skill, i allready have many hints about the Model.

But the Renders showing me nothing, Models can be done by everyone.
And the UV is messed up.

And we have atm. enough dudes working on playermodels, wer need allrounder Devs.
That means  Statics, props, Vehicles, Character, vegetation. And so on.
They should be working fast, not one update every 3 Months.
But the most important point is -> Able to work alone without much help of other Devs, we have to Develop our Mod and we haven´t so much Dev´s around with time to teach other peoples.

2. Rucksacks and stuff like that are done per kit mesh in BF2

And? They must been modeled on the Player model so tehy fit. Nonsense comment.

Check your Inbox AJS

And you need to upload an .3ds or .obj file  ::) We use max 9 for BF2 and not everyone has 2012 on his PC

As a tip, the uniform should be a LOT greener.

about becoming a Dev for modelling I really don't want to be one (as of now) because im not good at working on a time scale (I am trying to working on changing that ;D) and that I just got a new job witch just ate up all my free time and I also have the SAT test coming up and I am starting to do some collage stuff
but maybe in like  1 year I will have allot more free time because by then I hope I will have started collage

Don't take this the wrong way I would love to be a Dev in what I think is one of the best mods out there (I am not just saying that I really do mean it) Its just I don't have the time :( (as of now).....
but when I start to get free time you can be sure you will hear from me :D

@VonMudra thanks for the tip I was going off of a painting in a book  ;D not the best choose

Anyone notice the bazooka harness mixed in the UV layout?   Wondering why it's there?  That's because this is a stock Valve Day of Defeat: Source player model.  The model uses a dynamic attachment system which calls the correct gear for the class using one model, hence why the MG bullets for the MG class and bazooka gear are layed out in the skin.

You sir, did none of this.  Nothing about this is yours.  Your a pretty god awful liar.  You simply de-compiled the DoD:s player models using Cannonfodders .mdl decompliler and recompiled them for BF2.

Identifiable features include such details as...EVERYTHING.

You're not a modeler, skinner, and certainly not a Valve employee.
