Full audio book can be found below on YouTube. I've read it. It's an excellent book. I truly believe that it is the best personal account of a soldier's, or in the case a marine's, experiences in combat. Gritty.

Hey Gomer, nice link, i had a listen.
Although for truely gritty im affraid i have to say, you have to go eastfront. Nothing beats diary accounts of Germans breaking out of a kessel on foot under fire, running from russian tanks.

D-day through german eyes, is nice too. Cant find the 1st part of the book on youtube atm for some reason.

Thanks for the links Redbad. I've subscribed to those channels and will give them a listen soon. The German language one will help me with my language learning so that's a cool fringe benefit.
