Ausf. F with 3.7 cm Kw.K (L/46.5) and 2 x 7.92 mm MG 34 would be the correct type for France. It wasn't until July 1940, when Ausf F. and G were produced with 5 cm Kw.K L/42, mounted in an external mantlet on the modifed turret.

Creating Ausf. F out of Ausf. J can be a challenge, considering the number of changes introduced incl. lengthened hull, widened suspension components, new sprocket and idler wheels, new set of tracks, unevenly spaced return rollers etc. But having 125 rounds of 37mm and 4,500 rounds of 7.92mm S.m.K. (steel-core armor piercing) and S.m.K.Lichtspur (w. tracer) ammos in 60 double drum magazines sure sounds like fun.

(specs from Panzer Tracts 3-2, 3-3, 3-4)

I guess Ausf. E from FHSW can be used for reference:

Funny thing is that (if I'm not mistaken) this FHSW Pz III E is actually modified Pz III J from FH 0.7, that is the same one now used in FH2. Maybe we can ask them very niiicely  ;)

I think that this is the correct model for the Fall Gelb 1940.

Yes, E was more common but only slightly I think. F was also very common

Nice plates Guarnere. It shows how there were no, or very little external differences between Pz III Ausf. E and F assembled in the same period, and the new features were not introduced as parallel - many Ausf. F build in 1940 had "leftover" features from phased out Ausf. E production (like the fake periscope) or/and were completed without the turret ring guard, armored vents for brake cooling, radio operator's side hatch etc.

Pizzaman do you think its maybe this village ? Its conected directly to crossing of Sedan and is very  interesting  battle.

Villers-le-Tilleul
...

Nope, the real village on Google Maps looks exactly like the minimap. No rotations or assumptions needed.

Ooh figured it out, nice battle indeed. Nice guys  :)  Its real FiveStar
What do you think on which % is it finished?

Two churches in such close proximity!?
You are bathing in misery and hope, waiting for someone to come and pull the plug.

Not sure if that's a chapel (or such), but having two churches in close proximity was quite common in the old times: different parishes, different churches - even in small villages with couple hundred inhabitants.

It is like that in reality as well, just a bit scaled down.
