Does anyone know how to configure buttons? Say I want ot crouch, but I don't want to keep holding it down. How could I press it and let go and keep me crouching? And when I want to stand back up, press crouch again.

Yes you can change the key settings but you can't change how they react in game, you have to hold it for crouching. I think thats good since crouch walking is not comfortable in real life and holding the button while moving is not comfortable either. Hey look, vanilla realism!

Just go to ingame options and then controls. It's so easy.

It's not possible warrior. I have looked into this and fiddled with the controls.con, but alas it does not work as hoped.
When you alter the crouch button to be toggelable the player ingame will start bouncing like an idiot.Pity though.
What you can do is designate you right-mouse button to crouch. I find this easier to hold then the default C key.

Right mouse button for crouch.   It is the only way to play!

Using my third/middle mouse button.

Lainer you frighten me, not only do you have a vast knowledge of old Amiga/PC/C64/you name it games, but you are also an avid right mouse - crouch player,  like me:o
