Is it true that the map has proved out to be skewed towards the Soviets? Or is there still hope left that Germans will learn how to do the final push?

It seems skewed towards Russia. But the other day I played as Germans and we crushed. Mappers are looking at feedback and play testing tho.

birds don't sing in August?

"Because birds sing to establish and defend a territory and to attract a mate, they sing mainly during spring and early summer."

In August, birds officially don't do songs anymore, only subsongs. This is the biological term for the less prominent way birds sing in late summer (August) and early autumn and even winter. Subsinging is primarily for preserving food territories, not for attracting mates. It's also less frequent than the spring singing, which sometimes goes on throughout the day.

So yeah, birdsounds could be added and it would be realistic.

If you have any more questions about birdsongs, just post them: one of my friends had his promotional research at university about birdsongs.

You found an area you're not really supposed to go into. It's known and will be fixed for the next patch.

About the birds; noises like that just add ambiance. When you find yourself in a quiet part of the battle and can hear the sounds of the environment. Gives it a nice summer feel imo.

This mod about war not a vacation. So birds in a war zone is a nonsense. Birds will fly away ASAP in a mile radius after first round of a tank has been shot. Where is TS4Ever comment on screenshots?

The last time I was at the gun range, there was a bird who would not leave the range no matter how many shots were taken.  We all just had to do our best to avoid hitting the thing until it decided to fly up to a tree nearby.

So lol no birds don’t just fly a mile away because of some noise.

Next time start firing a few mortar rounds down range and see if that same bird still sticks around.

Ogledow changelog for 2.54:

- Hopefully closed all exploitable hedgerows (all versions)
- Replaced half of the Panzer IVHs with Panther G (early)
- Replaced all SU 152s with ISU 122s
- Added a third German tank forward spawn in Ogledow. Once the Germans control the first sector, all tank spawns switch there
