APHE(Simply HEAT)
APHE isn't HEAT.  HEAT shells rely on a shaped charge explosion to form a tight jet of metal plasma that cuts through armour like a hot knife through butter.  APHE shells are just normal solid AP shot with a hollowed out section filled with some explosives, the point being to penetrate using kinetic energy and then explode inside the armour, wreaking havoc with the crew.

Isn´t APHE a AP shell filled with explosive stuff? These shells work different than HEAT because they rely on kinetic power rather than heat and pressure. APHE shells use speed, mass etc. to penetrate the armour and the explosives in the shell then explode after a certain amount of time (and hopefully inside the tank).
EDIT: Ah, too late ^^

Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

Aye sorry for the misunderstanding.I clicked APHE and i came up the HEAT page, so i thought it was just a US Name for it.

When you're driving it, I assume your player model will sit in the turret acting as the commander.  So if you stay still too long, someone may just snipe you out sdkfz222 style.

It'll should be open, same as the Marder is ingame now.
Except that the gunner in the marder needs to be sitting with the gun rather than down in the hull as he currently is.

the sdkfz 222 is lame, not to say MG fire would immediately kill the driver, i did shot the driver out many times using a SMG and of course those guys never tried to use that speedy coffin again.

How do I shot driver?

Sorry.

Too bad there's not going to be any sneaky climbable trees like the palms in FH1. That would be perfect for getting the drop on unsuspecting M10 gunners. Until then, I shall stalk the ridges with a rifle in hand an a panzerfaust slung over my shoulder, hunting my quarry like some sort of bear hunter. Except bears don't have HE shells.

The 222 isn't bad at all, but as you said you're to vulnerable, because you can't close the hatch at the top.  :-\

We had that in the beginning during the tests before 2.0 where it was coupled wit the gun elevation, but the view was really restricted by it.
Perhaps it might make a return some day. :)

Sure hope so - seeing as tanks get their cupola view as well without getting vulnerable.  :P

Epic fail bakehouse. ^^
You can open them, and if possible then you can do it with the same key as the view slits in the sdkfz

Don't your legs stick out if you try to hide in the turret?

Depends on how you lie down, probably. As you can see on this picture:
the tank has a pretty thick layer of plate at the pipe, soo he probably lies with his leggs in that position and the people outside can't see them sticking through.

The 222 isn't bad at all, but as you said you're to vulnerable, because you can't close the hatch at the top.  :-\

In my opinion they should change that like you can take window up and down on kübel, roof up and down on willey and plate covers in commanders veichel.

And ye as you say "you can't shoot spitfires" <-- cant that be fixed with coding? Also, its useless for taking down spitfires anyways :P

Coding example (remember i know nothing about coding) if you move the pipe up, the roof opens, if you move it down, it closes.

The 222 is horrible for AA. Any decent pilot can avoid the fire, and come right back at you with 2x or 4x the amount of 20mm rounds the 222 can put out.
