Headgear
« on: 07-04-2009, 03:04:59 »
As normandy draws closer, and beta testers are able to say some at least. I know that the german models are almost done and are not in game yet, but do we know what types of head gear they will wear? For example, the SL hat, since he cant use the tropenhelm anymore, will he get an officers cap, or a field cap of some sort? As well as I assume the helmets will have some sort of camo, will the scouts/snipers get a special innertube lining on the outside with make shift foliage camo on it? Would be realistic and very practical ;) (Or as mudra pointed out to me, almost everyone used this for their helmets)

Any info on the brits would be cool too :P Do they still wear the beanie caps (engineer and scout)?

etc.

How long have you been with us Niebler?
All testers had to put their signature under an NDA that threatens nothing but the utter financial devastation of anyone who leaks such info.  ;) ;D

I haven´t read about that, but will we get some camouflaged playermodels, too?

Come on, you know you want to tell us :P

I'd be wondering more about whether chin straps have finally been added to the player textures.  ;)

I wonder whether we get 2.2 on June 6th.

I usually imagine my own sounds with it, like `tjunk, tupdieyupdiedee` aaa enemy spotted, ratatatataboom

If it was up to these guys to defend Europe against allied invasion in 1944, it would have cost far less casualties... ;)

Oh, yeah, how could I forget them? ^^
So, we need:
-Wehrmacht with standard uniforms, some camouflage uniforms and of course Zeltbahn ponchos (best would be Splittertarn).
-Waffen-SS (forbidden insignia can be left out) with various camo schemes like dot pattern etc.
-Fallschirmjäger with proper uniforms

If we´d get these models, then Normandy would be awesome and I´d start singing love songs naked for the devs.  ::)
