Only got time to play an hour with DLF on the PZDF (something) server, the map was meuse
so far i like i start enjoying tanking again, feelt great driving the 76 sherman in a small town with friendly infantry advancin toward the flag area while i provide smoke/He/mg-armour support
love that you see all the explosions now, aswell improved the sound/gfx even looked/sounded great on my 5+ old pc

seems to work now, only thing now is that i for some reason installed version 2.2 rather than 2.3

Well i broke my Battlefield 2 installation forced to reinstall
everything ran seemed to work with 1.0, but when i apply the 1.41 patch
it loads up to about 8% and then i get this angry error message "Patching Failed"
followed by the sarcastic message the that the installation was successfully installed (b*****)
i am aware i a bin tampering with disabling some service in AVG tuneup, my guess i turned off a service the patch need to install... but which one
I am running windows XP Service pack 3, 32bits version
have run CCleaner and AVG tuneup and removed any traces off BF2

lucky moment: on Mt.Olympus (762 god forbid) i was attempting to grey the northen-most flag i hide in a little cafe with a squadmate, as expected someone throws in mills bombs, in a realativly open room there where not much cover...
Only a small coffe table witch the nade landed under, jumped on the table in reflex... and survived the blast under my feed (my squadmate did not) just to gate moved town by mr Tommy Gunn.--
