two questions about modding

hello i was having questions about modding fh2 so here are they...

1) i merged the fh2 and vanilla bf2 mods FOR MY PERSONAL USE......i merged the vehicles weapons ana statics and now i want to merge the teams/ armies so how can i do it???? HELP ME AND ITS FOR MY PERSONAL USE

2) as i merged the mods now i started mapping with it...so i made a beach assault map similar to Omaha beach.....but by a mistake.....i made the cliff and tye Bunker somewhat far from the beach...where the Lcvp is gonna land so they are now visible from bunkers....how is there a way to increase the view distance  so that the soldiers will be visible???

please answer these questions as they ate important for me  and yes THEY ARE FOR MY PERSONAL USE!!

What do you mean "merge the teams"? Thing is when I read what you write I kind of get the impression that you don't even know how the basics of the game work, so it is hard to help you without going over everything.

i didn't mean merging the teams..
i meant porting the armies from fh2 to my personal vanilla bf2..
so now am i clear??

That's not very clear. 

I've put BF2 maps into the FH2 levels folder and put WW2 teams on it for uh you know "personal use".  I've never tried mixing modern and WW2 vehicles or had the Germans fight the Iraqis or anything.

You should be more clear and specific about what you want to do.

yes that would be awesome.... i am also planning to port maps from fh2 to bf2 but after i finish the dday map on vbf2

let me clarify myself

i am making a dday map and i need german army (whole army  eith nametags ,minimap icons etc)  fight the US ...... but the thing is that , that there is no german army in vbf2........so i now just want to port the German army to my vbf2 you know for "personal use"  :D 

you know......it would be awesome to see the Germans fight against modern US

so i just wanted to know how to port a whole army ?
if you cant tell in public builds than just PM me

When I was experimenting with Chinese troops for FH2 I made  common_client, menu_client, object_client, and object_server zips in my map folder and then put ClientArchives and ServerArchives cons in the map server zip to call them up.

The common_client has the sound->FH2German
The menu_client should have external, HUd, and nametag folders.  It's all about the different flags.
The objects_client should have kits, and soldiers
objects_server should have the server files for kits, and soldiers

When you think you got that, make ClientArchives and ServerArchives cons that say this:

fileManager.mountArchive levels/Battle_of_Songshan/objects_client.zip Objects
fileManager.mountArchive levels/Battle_of_Songshan/common_client.zip Common
fileManager.mountArchive levels/Battle_of_Songshan/menu_client.zip Menu

fileManager.mountArchive levels/Battle_of_Songshan/objects_server.zip Objects

With your map name of course.

You'll have to study the FH2 files to figure out what all you will need.  Good luck

am giving a try quickly and will be replying as soon as possible!!!

an another question..

i have made a sea in my map and set its colour to
blue...but the colour of the sea is blue in one half and dark blue in another half!!! why that so??

The water color issue happened to me also back when i had an ati gcard, but after i upgraded to nvidia that problem went away.
