I thought the same. Is it a hint or just a phrase to lead us to nowhere? The work looks good as always. Nice to see the italian army more and more becoming a unique faction. Thanks for the update and I am looking forward to the next one ;)

Yes, they fought agaisnt russians, but not that much, they fought from 1941 until 1943 I think

Are you guys joking? The Italians sent over 235,000 troops to the Eastern Front. That's a huge commitment and more than they had in Africa.

Yes, they fought agaisnt russians, but not that much, they fought from 1941 until 1943 I think
Are you guys joking? The Italians sent over 235,000 troops to the Eastern Front. That's a huge commitment and more than they had in Africa.
Hell, they preformed very well too in the summers of 1941 and 1942, especially with the Corps under Messe in 1941. Then they were left to rot in the winter of 1942, and were crushed during the Soviet Stalingrad offensives, but even then the Alpino managed to fight their way clear.
All in all, the italians would be AWESOME to see when the team reaches 1941/42 stuff.

I would love to see a map about italians in eastern front. A map like crossing the river Bug and encountering russian troops in the marshlands or battle of Serafimovich and the first soviet counterattack against the italian held town in mid august 1942. Italians attacking the town alone with Fiat's and semovente's and then they are backed up by the german panzers to fend off a horde of T-34's at the bridgehead.

The italians fought hard in WW2 on the eastren front, but where simply bad equipped and trained
Italian POW's sufferd the hardest of any axis POW, a mortality rate of 85%
There was many hardship from Partizans and communist inspired troops. But there are many accounts of russian soldiers and russian civilians doing whatever they could to help them, risking there own lives because it was forbidden by the stalin and communist party to help POW's

Here's to hoping that the 21st Panzer's mostly French motor pool will be also represented in the future (while waiting for the French Hope, for which the models are needed anyway).

they only need sword and banzai suicide bomb, that's it. That suicide bomb was hell fun in FH42 :D I ran around with the sword, cutting heads of Amis off, then when there are too many amis to cut, I pull the pin...
there are some reasons why people love the pacific battle - things are really different.

lol that is hilarious I have toke the Banzai kit as the Americans but always got shot before doing some epic wtf explosion.
I am sure that this banzai kit would be the most popular one in FH2 if the pacific ever came out. (wait, TK fest?)
or we need to suicide grenade kit for the Russians? ... :D
imagine: A russian soldier hiding above in some building, waiting for a whole squad of Germans to pass through, then jump down, run to them, pull the pin, .......
