That would mean release on Saturday, September 1th 2009, 70 year anniversary of the war in Europe's beginning.

Nah, they are most likely not ready yet. They've only been testing for 2 weeks with the larger testing team afaik. Give it another month :P

that would be an awful release day because i am not at home that day

also i think release is "usually" Fridays (passworded torrent usually 3 days before) so you can play the whole weekend.

Wednesday - start torrent
Thursday - download complete, seed
Friday - leave computer to seed, away drinking
Saturday - install, play for an hour, away drinking
Sunday - wake up in the afternoon, play until late evening
Monday - wake up in the morning; realize you completely forgot to eat, shit and shower the previous day, feel completely burned out

Rest of the year: feed your addiction (and whine on the forums).

On those parts, i agree :)

But i cant play 1 hour straight, i just have to do something else

When 2.15 was released, i loved Mareth line, so when mareth line was over, i went to the Pub, or slept till it was back on

Wow i never tought that someting i bring up about Poland will see a continuation lol. I stopped trying after many failed attempts in the past.Any way, something offtopic,
ORPGRyf  - British nor French never created Polish units during WWII, it was always attempt of Polish generals , government in exile and officers ,a  hard work.As an example- Gen Maczek's armored units in FRance 1940, and 1 Armored Division that was created in Scottland  in 1942 :]British and French always have seen Poles as a problem, until they started to fight ;p then all were in AVE for Polish soldiers.
. Canadians fought germans, and there is no doubt about this, however they were not the last element in the gap, preventing Germans from escaping.Battle for hill 262 (mont ormel) that is the story of the soldiers who were this last element.
You tube wont work at my PC right now, dunno why.But You can see a movie "Lost evidence-Liberation of Paris" there is a story about this decisive few days long battle on hill 262.At the same time other part of 1Polish Armored Division fought in Chambois and made contact with US  troops.

As for Polish army in FH2, Falaise Gap.Needed things are: armpatches for Polish soldiers, voice commands for Polish soldiers, and reskin of the vehicles for use by Poles. No new modeling required! only reskinning and offcourse making a propper map :] called Mont Ormel or Battle for hill 262.I know Omni will gladly make reskins of the vehicles :] right Omni? Too bad I haven't seen prvt.Allen for a long time here, he could made a map :] anyyone remembers his carentan map?

and General Maczek himself

Armpatch for 1 Armored Division, hussar wing

black&white wersion (only colored one is original)

regular red "Poland" armpatch, these are originals :] in my posession

 a map of the events

short story
"Gentlemen. Everything is lost. I do not believe [the] Canadians will manage to help us. We have only 110 men left, with 50 rounds per gun and 5 rounds per tank… Fight to the end! To surrender to the SS is senseless, you know it well. Gentlemen! Good luck – tonight, we will die for Poland and civilization. We will fight to the last platoon, to the last tank, then to the last man."

This site is really nice!!

oh, call of duty 3 has this map :] with Poles on it.

Making polish army isn`t wery hard i think:

-Take british playermodel
-replace armpatch
-Import fh1 sounds
-polish cromwell is ready [yes they are in game [2.2]]
-take sherman and coppy/paste rear of cromewell
-make new map [the hardest thing to do]

I never used 3dmax ect. But making writing yellow "poland" on red background and paste it to british playermodel can`t be so hard! The same goes with sherman.

Sarcasm aside, what Cin3k33 meant was probably that changing the armpatch on an uniform or lettering on a tank should be easier than making a complete 3D model and complete skin of an uniform or a tank.

An example: IL-2 Forgotten Battles (for which I have made skins myself, although not for public use), if you created your own skins first as "layers" in PSP or Photoshop, and only combined them into bitmap when you wanted to import the skin in-game, it was a relatively easy task to edit the "insignia" layer only, leaving "warpaint", "rivets & seams" & "weathering" layers alone. However, to get into the point where you COULD start playing with insignia (ie. you had a good-looking custom skin, with good-looking colours, realistic weathering, not-too-intrusive rivet joints) took quite some time and effort. So much, in fact, that I am not even considering joining up for a modding team. :)

Do you really think I meant that? I respect your work, know modeling is hard piece of sith.
I worked a lot with 2d graphics and cut/paste seems easy for me.

Not my work, but I know what you mean.
I tried starting to model a while back with toddel's help, but practically I lost the 'mojo'.
I don't know where he musters the energy from, but I for my point am dead tired of CAD programs once I get off my RL work and don't even bother to game that much anymore.
