Problem when playing Battlefield
« on: 01-12-2010, 23:12:44 »
Well, latter that day I wanted to play BF2 online cuz their was not enough players on FH2 and each time I was kicked out of the game because it's sais that I have a modified version of BF2. Is that normal if you have installed FH2 or it's something wierd ? The only thing I have on BF2 is FH2 and the latest version on punkbuster. Help would be appreciated.

Actually this error just pops up when your BF2 version is lower than v1.5.
Just check your version number of BF2. Last question, were you able to join a FH2 server?

Nope, if one tries to join a server with older BF2 version, it will say so. Modified version/content error is different.

But, check the version number and answer N24's question nevertheless. There might be something in it.

My version of Battlefield is 1.5.3153-802.0

And yes, I can join a FH2 server, I play almost everyday since 1 week or 2 on HsLan or 762, depending of the number of players.

Yes, had it too, but you are not going to like the solution. I had to reinstall everything, because I didn't have the time to troubleshoot the issue.

Hello. Who knows write. I bought a new PC. Here are its features:
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.01.2600 Service Pack 3)
DirectX: DirectX 9
CPU: AMD Athlon (tm) II X2 250 Processor
Memory: 2048 MB
                      : <Realtek HD Audio
                      : NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250
So run mode BATTLEFIELD 2 (NAW, FH2) and they all slow down.MOD AIX operating normally. Every 15sec inhibits picture duration in 1 sek Install operating systems, (WIN 7, win xp) and the driver, the results of the same

Put the graphics settings from large to small-picture does not change. Mods and patches are installed as it should be checked for serviceability problems on my old computer was not with them
. New games like MAFIA BFBC2 and 2 work well. Who knows what the problem is?

Hi Andrej, at a first look I would say that you need more RAM Memory.
2GB is not much considering that BF2 needs quite a bit of RAM and WinXP as well.

Because they don't rely heavily on the ram, but more on your videocard.

I would put 2GB ram extra in, because RAM is cheap today.
