Best 2.2 moments so far!

Well, what can I say then? The Thompson M1928 feels a lot more usable now because of the 3D sights. Kudos.

The new M1928 thompson is GODLY.  It looks fantastic in 3D, it aims MUCH better, the sound is FANTASTIC and the recoil is slightly down, Greatly increasing its usability.

Still to try the africa maps, by the sounds of things I should try the thompson, since I remember how i used to flip out when id go toe-to-toe with a guy with an MP40 and 9/10 times id lose

Trust me. You wont lose..  The Thompson M1928 is now a real Trenchsweeper. It is really, a fantastic weapon now

my best moments were in fh2.2 is when i camouflaged my sherman firefly on goodwood and took out a king tiger, and on operation totalize in a cromewell bagging a tiger from behind (some reason he didnt know i was there even though i kept shooting at his rear)

i also love the lee-enfield/springfield sniper rifles i managed to shoot a guy who was about to panzerfaust a friendly sherman

The lee-enfield fires 10 times better now with the 3D Sights. Even the terrible SMLE fires much better now

I really like the canadian/british achilles tank destroyer, its pretty awesome when your laying in wait for enemy tanks to go across your gun sights then you pop them in the ass with your 17 pounder anti-tank cannon, and then you can just withdraw and hit em from a different position, i wish people could put tanks into barns and ambush enemy tanks that way, but i suppose the drawback is, is that enemy infantry with anti-tank weaponry would kill you...lol

when I rambo in a firefly and kick gerry tankers' ass. My firefly just worked like a Pershing...(and I was somehow lucky enough to survive a shot from a panther)

Shooting 1 rifle grenade from Obsavation bunker down on a croawdet beach with USA troop and get 11 kills in 1 blow! on PDH map. My highest 1 shot kills ever. This whas the same evening 2.2 whas released.

Other then that almost every evening sins 2.2 whas released i observe somthing epic happening

Just came off a round of Pointe du Hoc. Epic.

Spawned near the mortar bunker and picked up an M1917. Moved forwards through the fields until I caught sight of a German squad trying to push through across an adjacent field via a break through the hedgerow. I crouched, brought up my sights... the first two managed to get through before I could position myself for a shot.  Another three made a break for it. Took out the second one, the first dived to the ground. Him and his friend tried to make a break for it to behind a shed. Worked the bolt. Took out another. The third got to the shed but I managed to wound him. Reloaded the rifle and waited patiently. Saw him get up again, trying to make a run from the field he just came from. Got him square in the back and saw him go flying.

It was amazing. I love that rifle. Best sights of any rifle and the sound is terrifying.

Ye, the Pattern  17 Lee enfield is fantastic. Best sight, and its really deadly on long range

One of my other best moments was when i was on goodwood and i was squad leader and i was spotting for artillery i was in a dried out grassfield and camouflaged me really well, i noticed some sniper fire coming from the church, so i used my binoculars and pressed the fire button on the binoculars, soon the artillery came down on the church and i saw the german sniper fall out of the window and hit the floor, so i was thinking to myself "he won't be bothering any of our lads again!" i then turned my attention to the 88 anti-tank guns which were in cagny and called in artillery to destroy them, it really helped the allies win that round, and i contributed to the victory by dealing with threats that could've turned the battle the other way round in the favour of the axis!.

I do have a funny moment too, i was on point du hoc and i was climbing the rope and as i was climbing something funny happend, you know when you play call of duty 2 and your climbing the rope and 2 guys get killed and fall to their deaths, well thats what happend on the point du hoc map, i was climbing the rope and one of our guys gets killed and falls passed me!, i was like, LOL! it made me laugh for ages, it still makes me laugh thinking about it lol.

Was on the first AA gun emplacement on Point Du Hoc (playing updated FH2SP dev beta , hint hint) and got smoked to shit house, was spinning around blind firing, and some how managed to kill about 7 people with one off shot, don't know how that happened, but it was lol's.

best map - Goodwood   for the tanks

best weapon so far - Webley   never, ever underestimate this lovely weapon and the PIAT kit

best tank - Cromwell or firefly, had a few good 20+ enemy tank kill ace rounds without being hit in return so far

Best plane - I just shoot them down with my tank :p


My best moment so far was on the pocket map, defending the front line with the firefly taking out over 20-25 enemy tanks without being killed, now that was fun.

My second best, killing 15 guys with the entrenching tool then just as a guy thinks he has me in hand to hand switch to webley and shoot him in the face :p
