Deployable Breda
« on: 17-05-2010, 22:05:56 »
Well,well,well...
Imagine firing the Breda from the Giarabub walls...
It would be damn useless to fire it standing, but not crouched...
Wouldn´t this be a great present for us,the italian biased community?

I support this, as the Breda 30 has the same weight and performance of an bren gun. LMG's should be allowed to be played like this.

The Breda 30 wasn't made to be fired standing.

But what about crouching with the bipod deployed?

Meh, I'd rather not. Whenever I play Italians I can't but wonder how could they lost the war with such perfect equipment. Carcano, beretta, breda - they all nail the enemy by themselfes. Once I made a full auto shootout with beretta SMG on a group of aussies on the other side of giarabub fortress - 6 were running but only 3 survived.

i support the idea of having either the breda fireable from an iron sights view or be deployable with the bipod. I actually mentioned this in another thread earlier today. Also what is with people and loving the Itals so much...?

They didn't want to win.

Give an army that isn't 100% committed to its side winning the best equipment in the world, and they'll still lose. Not saying the Italians were cowards, far from it. But Mussolini and his pals completely failed to 'sell' the war to the Italian people and the army. That's why it went tits up.

That and the shit, shit tanks.
