I know It's a bold assumption, but Battle of Stonne was mentioned in changelog few times... Soo maybe this map is set somewhere in France somewhen in 1940 :P? But I'm probably wrong :-\

Anyway, I think Shake and Bake made some live videos with this twitch. Should be something similar to that I would think.

We are not sure 100%. This is a test balloon really, to see how it works and if people are interested. If it goes well, we might start showing Russian stuff this way.

I went to school with a kid who had a twitch. People would've made fun of him for it, except he was a really big fat guy, so we just made fun of his titties instead.

French Hope was an idea a while back. Basically the thought was that a team of community modders made a bunch of maps set in 1940 France and the FH2 devs make the content to put on it (weapons, vehicles etc). The whole thing was ditched when it was determined that bringing these maps up to standard was the same amount or more work than making new ones from scratch.

Easy guys, the work wasn't a total waste (it never is) aside from the valuable mapping skills that the French Hope guys got to learn by making maps and having them critiqued;
We have that lovely H-39 turret that we all love to mow down American infantry with on Omaha Beach :D Our 2 Marder I's are based off an H-39 and a Lorraine 37L chassis.
Any time you work on a map or a model etc... your work is never wasted, even if it is scrapped. You always learn something from it that helps you with future work. Just ask TS. God knows how many maps he went through before bringing us Dukla Pass 8)

As much as you guys deserve to see me dress up in the pink tutu, I don't have it anymore (it got sent to a better home in Sweden)
However I now promise the return of the pink tutu, in some stream in the future, for you guys! :)

Watched through the whole thing and I must say the new
French German vehicles look fantastic. (especially the SOMUA) Excellent map also, Pegasus is a beauty. You should do more streams in the future, looking forward to all this new content. :)

Thank you guys SO MUCH for joining up with us, we weren't really sure of how popular this was going to be, I personally expected to see like maybe 20-30 people join, but you blew me completely out of the water!
I'm going to take a wild guess, but no real promises yet, that we'll be doing more of these later in the future! :)

its a nice map some fine work guys and it was fun to watch it was a suprise because i was thinking about the eastren front i didnt expect that next to the eastren front there was another nice map for the brits comming ;D, kinda coincidence though because i watched National Geographics ww2's greatest raids about pegasus bridge this morning and i must say the map is a fine reconstruction of it just like it was in the documentary =-) keep up the good work :) but i forget to ask if it comes out will it come out first as mp map and later as singleplayer/ coop map? like omaha?

I really liked that sort of "here's our shit that's not on the news yet" few problems on the technical side (or maybe it was just me?) to iron out, but regardless, a very nice idea indeed :D.

Wow, I can't even begin to describe how much I enjoyed this. People have adequately conveyed how incredible the map & new content looks, and I strongly agree with what has been said.
Most importantly, I love that this is how you guys shared the new map. I missed the live stream, but watching the Youtube later was just as much fun. I felt like I was getting a "one on one" tour with a pair of Devs. This has made FH2 a great deal more personal. I sincerely appreciate how forthcoming you guys were with information, your honesty, and your openness. It feels like a new chapter in the FH2 journey.
This Twitch showing was perfect. It was professional, yet extremely fun and interactive. You guys are fantastic. Keep up the incredible work.

I got a question regarding the map, I admit I'm not familiar with the battle in great detail but as I recall in this series (https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=yjrDVF8jijA#t=1285) they placed great emphasis on Lt. Brotheridge's success in clearing the concrete pillbox in front of the cafe...
That pillbox seems to be missing on the map? Is it just another classic screwup by the TV show producers or did you guys forget to put it there (maybe no static for it made yet)?

Theres a pillbox on the opposite riverbank, nothing infront of the cafe itself.

AFAIK what he took out was a "machine gun position", not necessarily a bunker.
