The 95mm howitzer was not as powerfull as 105mm howitzers but was specially designed for tanks and had a much faster Rate of fire. 7 Rounds a minute where easily achieved in a cromwell, centaur and churchill CS tank.
HE and HESH where the most common rounds. HESH being for bunkers but HESH was quickly found to be devestating against light and medium tanks (Thus an impact on the side of a PZIV should have deadly effects)
HEAT was implented in 3-5 rounds per vehicle. Penetration of the HEAT round was 110mm at a 30degree angle. Sufficient to lay waste to PZIV/Stugs. The tiger's frontall hull should take damage, but not the turret. Panther should in theory be immune, even tough the gun mantlet is 100mm thick.
Sides of these tanks are paper tough
Both British CS, sherman 105 and StUH 42 there HE shell should damage tanks tough.
