From what I can gather the British could use an updated Dorchester.
Yes, AIUI all commonwealth nations can use the dorchy. Here's a nice alternate colourscheme/setup.

Look out Ganon, Link traded in Epona and got a new ride!  (He just needs to play Zelda's Lullaby in front of the TriForce mark everytime he wants to start the engine.)

...lol :D

Is that the one that was lost in the hard drive crash?  Or did K96 make a new one?

For the yankies I would like to see a signal corps truck like this wc53 :)

Specs:
-Dodge 3/4 ton, 4X4 Carryall. (A Carryall is what they used to call SUV's)
-There were 8700 of the 3/4 ton's made through WWII.
-They were originally used for radio communication & recon.
-They have a disk with Radio gear + passenger seats inside
-They came with 6 cyl's, 4 spd's & 5:96 gears so they could go anywhere, just not fast.
-They were full time 4WD.

as you can see they get pretty close to the action, this one being taken out by an 88mm in italy

They were used in every theater of operations during ww2

 :)

Got a book on these vehicles. Let me look some things up for you guys.
As already mentioned the Dodge WC 56 Command Car. Duties: command recon. Theres soft and hard cabs for these ones.
Then we also got the White Scout Car M3A1. While being a recon/scout vehicle I'm quite confident this was also used by commanders.
Half-track M3A1, some commanders preferred the US half-track. Patton anyone?  :P

Now thats the US department, nothing really new. AFAIK most of these things where already mentioned. On to the Commonwealth nations 1944.
Humber FWD, it got a really nice command version. Luxury car, almost looks like a civilian car.
Chevrolet 8445-C8 A? Not sure? It looks perfect for command duties though!
AEC Matador also looks really good for this.
And ofcourse the Dorchester which looks the most obvious choice for command vehicle within FH2.

Well thats my contribution to this thread  :)

On a side note: what I would love to see for the Airborne maps is the Cushman 53 Autoglide. A freaking paratrooper scooter, super awesome  :D

Oh we totally forgot about this Vehicles.  :o Say thank you to Meadow that now the Release is delayed the Time 3 more Vehicles need to model, Texture and Export  ;D

Ah well, let it never be said I don't have an impact around here!

Cheers for the thriving responses guys, keep 'em coming. This is how I remember the suggestion forum being in its heyday. I particularly like the American suggestions - seems the Yanks couldn't decide on quite what to use.

No, thats the old one. I just thought I'd post it to see if anyone thought it was indeed new.

Not much where made. Production started in 1944 and ended in 1945. Around 5,000 where produced. Cushman 53 is not likely to make it in the 2.2 release. Pity  :(
