But honnestly, if you remove the supplycrate from the commander, is there a point of having a commander at all??

I mean the commander post is already ... borring as fuck as it is right now. If you're going to limmit his abilities even further, you might as well remove it entirely

no SL spawn = welcome to spawn rape paradise
= welcome to no teamplay and leaving alone in a truck wile the others can walk

APC spawn = AT rilfe paradice. Halftracks usualy don't make it to the first flag ...

And rather then questioning wheither or not the SL function should be removed (sigh this discussion isn't new is it?), the only REAL thing I think should be changed is the complete removal of the crosshairs( neither new is it ?)

IMHO, squads are sowhat the best inovation of BF2

If wikipedia is correct, the Panzer III had 30MM side armor. The 2Pounder penetrates 49MM of armor. Why do we need DOZENS of shot to kill one Panzer III?

because that is at a range of 100m, wich would be sowhat ... unlikely in the middle of the dessert. In real life, tanks would almost sowhat be able to penetrate evry other tank if it was sowhat competitive.

The problem is range. I'm sure a sherman gun would be able to penetrate a tigers front armor ... if you'd put its barrel 10 cm away from it. But this is not a realistic option. Tanks don't ram eachother like in FH. Therefore, ranges in game needed to be tweeked in order to keep the game " playable at a semi realistic manner".

currently allies always win becouse...

The map spawns a shinny tiger, at least this was the reason time ago. It's hard to win a map if half your team is doing something stupid.

Let us know if now the tiger has lost its magnet factor to know if the map really has a balance issue or has not solution unless we remove it

Yes lobo this was the case the first week the map came out, but the situation has been normalised on publics regarding this matter (or at least the times I played the map).

Hence, I've seen a situation where nobody took the tiger, and it was rotting in the town.

-No grey flags at start

Agree

-Less Brit tanks at start

I don't entrirely agree. maybe one sherman less and a grant more, but it is sowhat balanced. Note that if axis get all the flags, axis also get more tanks from the start, therefore, it is fine as it is.

-Some more Paks

I don't agree. PAK's do get spammed by artillery or aircraft all the time, but this counts for evry map. fine as it is.

-Long spawn time on the beaufighter.

sowhat agree. It does respawn rather fast, but then again the game is more action driven then FH1.maybe a few more seconds (10 ? )but nothing to drastic.

Sigh, what about my old sugestion to lock passagers in their seats when the door of the JU52 is closed ? Currently, the door has no use at all. If the pilot was allowed to controle where troops landed, drops would be more organised.

currently allies always win becouse of the forward spawn + huge armor and air superority + the fact that half the german team must move out to cap the empty flags.

The empty flags seem a bit ... unlogical at this map. It would be more logical if axis got these flags from the start, so allies need to push trough. It seems to me that the flags where put blanck in the original mapsetup, inorder to let allies get a chance to get trough the line. However, since allies now spawn closer and have more bridges to cross, I think they no longer need this previlage, and the flags should go to axis so they can prepair a decent defence

Following the unfortunate incident earlier this week we have been carefully monitoring the world wide web in order to gauge the worlds reaction to this tragic events. We are making a concerted effort to get information to the international community, in an effort to assure the people of the world that the security situation in the Netherlands is not of an unstable nature.

I am sorry to say that this particular thread has received the attention of one of our security officers involved in this incident, and it has raised a number of concerns. I would like to inform those of you who would question the capabilities and the planning behind our security forces, that you should be more considerate with your opinions.

You must understand that in our country (as a number of my countrymen have pointed out in this thread) this holiday is a very big occasion. In this particular incident there were hundreds of thousands of spectators, and only several hundred-security officers present. Considering the monumental nature of their security task, under those conditions, it is reasonable and completely acceptable for security not to be airtight at all quarters. You also must understand the unexpected nature of the actions taken by the attacker were swift and drastic, and we would wager that nine times out of ten anyone would have been caught off guard in that situation. The questioning of the capabilities of the officers involved has been offensive to many of them, as this thread has been spread around, and they feel it is disrespectful to their comrades who gave their lives defending our sovereign.

On that note I have a very solemn request for two individuals who have been expressing themselves on this board. These two users, identified as sheikyerbouti and jumjum have particularly drawn the ire of some of our security officers. The two individuals mentioned have consistently disrespected and underestimated our security efforts in those matters. We would implore both of you, out of respect for our pain in this time of national mourning, not to disrespect the memory of our fallen heroes. In our country it is a violation of our laws to disrespect, and defame those who have given their lives for the Netherlands and our Queen. On that note we have received several petitions from members of our security forces, asking that we file a complaint with the World Court in The Hague. We do not know which countries either of you are from, but that is information we are pursuing. We have not decided if we are going to pursue any further action on this, but we would advise the two individuals previously mentioned to cease their defamation of our deceased security officers.

Regards,
