Off topic question:
I have wondered this a long time, the Tiger tank is called Pz VI, while the panther is called Pz V, why is that? wasn't the tiger created before the panther?
Or perhaps I'm confusing the numbers...

No, you aren't confusing the numbers. I searched for it when I saw your question, but for now I can't find an answer. My wild guess is that it is because of the tonnage, which was ever increasing with the numbers: Panzer II was heavier than Panzer I, Panzer III was heavier than Panzer II, etc. So in that logic, the numbers are correct as the Tiger was heavier.

Why does the Panzer have pastery (is it the right word) on top of the tank? and & the tower... Thought they only added it to AVOID anti tank mines, and last time i checked antitank mines doesn't fall from the air... or do they?
Well, they developed zimmerit because the germans THOUGHT the allies where gonna use LOADS and LOADS of Magnetic at mines and AT grenades. The germans developed an Magnetic Grenade, and they thought the allies would develop one aswel..

I think it's called Shurtzen "Skirt" It's a extra metal layer separated from the turret/chassis0 hull to stop small anti-tank weapons such as the bazooka. Also, I was looking at this update and I couldn't help but wonder if the devs had modded the BF2 engine. This looks way better than vanilla BF2. Great job.

He's talking about the ribbed sheet on the armor. It's anti-magnetic called Zimmerit and was developed because of Soviet infantries tendency to throw magnetic mines on the hull of german tanks, although personally i dont see how it helped the Tiger I any seeing as how the main hull is a friggin box you just have to toss it ontop.

Nobody used magnetic mines in large quantities except the germans. Question is: If the germans would not have applied Zimmerit, would the allies more likely might have developed magnic mines then? So, in some terms, it was a preventive measurement that saved the germans from getting beaten by their own equipment they might have left behind on their retreat.

How does the "Stuka zu Fuss" arty work? Like our static artillery? or is it just blind shooting?

You are on right trail, it was made to make shaped charge ammunition to explode before the actual tank, and prevent penetrating the tank armor. Soviets used same idea when welding steel "cages" on their T-34s in Berlin.

Whenever Devs clog us with multiple new stuff in one update, the release is scheduled to be close. It is done to present all stuff in time. Guys, we must be close.

Maybe the allies would've used magnetic mines in large quantities had the Germans not developed zimmerit. We'll never know.

I was thinking that myself, but we have been saying that for the past 6 months, so better not get our hopes up. We dont want to overfeed Lightning too soon anyway  ;)

I somehow doubt we'll see that KT on any maps, unless they make a new turret for it, considering its the wrong version.

That said,

AWESOME!!!!  I told you all that mobile AA would be ingame! I told you all!  HA HA HA HA HA!!!!
